e-Dealer Profile is an online system which has been deployed to enable the dealers to view their own profiles and history of transactions over the internet.

Using this utility Officials of the Taxation Department can also view and scrutinized the profile of any dealer who is registered in their respective circles.
A registered dealer or Tax Officials can login into the system view the history of transactions like Registration data, Taxes paid by him, waybills issued/utilized, Return statement etc in which the dealer had submitted to the Dept. from the time he/she is registered. Using this tool, the Officials of the department, also, can examine the history of the dealer by entering his TIN and take necessary decisions.
How to Avail :
Only the Registered Dealers of the Taxation Department, Govt. of Meghalaya who possess a valid TIN & CST registration No. issued by the Taxation Department and generated by the back-end application can access this application.
Dealers, who use the application for the first time, must get themselves registered using the New User link and obtain a user ID and Password.
Once registered, the dealer can login to the site and view his/her complete details including personal details, payment details, waybill details, return details etc.

The Meghalaya Excise Act (Eastern Bengal and Assam Excise Act 1910) is the principal legislation governing the production, manufacture, possession, transport, purchase and sale of intoxicating liquors, the levy of Excise duties and countervailing duties of alcoholic liquors for human consumption.
The Act is in force in the entire State of Meghalaya. The Directorate of Excise is enforcing the provisions of the Meghalaya Excise Acts/Rules have been framed and orders and notifications issued from time to time to implement the provisions of the Act.
In addition to the Meghalaya Excise Act, other Acts and orders specified below are administered by the Excise Department and enforced by the Directorate of Excise.
1. The Meghalaya Opium Prohibition Act (Assam Opium Prohibition Act, 1957).
2. The Meghalaya Ganja and Bhang Prohibition Act (Assam and Ganja and Bhang Prohibition Act, 1952.
3. The Medicinal and Toilet preparation (E.D.) Act, 1955 and Rules there under (Central).
4. The Molasses Control Order, 1961 (Central).
5. The Ethyl Alcohol Price Control Order, 1972, (Central Act).
6. The Dangerous Drugs and Rules there-under (Central Act).
