Application For Trade License
Application for a Trade license has to be done within one month from the date of opening the shop. Application should be attached with prescribed documents. Any person carrying on any trade, profession or calling in Chas city needs to obtain trade license from Chas Municipal Council. One may apply for trade license in the prescribed form in Office of Chas Municipal Council.
This wing is headed by the Tax Daroga. Any citizen wanting to do business, establish a trade, shop, etc., in the city has to obtain a Trade Licence/Permit from CMC in accordance with various provisions of the Jharkhand Municipal Act and pay a fee for this Licence. Trade Licence applications are available at municipal office. Trade Licence is required to be renewed every year.
In case of delay, additional amount will be realized from the traders. The trade license is issued after application in prescribed form with required supporting documents and proper spot verification of the business.
