Siliguri Apply Water Supply Connection
Applications are invited for Registration relating to House Connection / commercial connection for Water Supply Scheme of Siliguri Municipal Corporation.
The Supply of water for the first phase of the Siliguri Water Supply project has been done in the following wards:
WARD NOs.: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10.
WARD NOs.: 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20.
WARD NOs.: 21, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30.
Besides, supply of water for the 2nd phase has also been started in the following areas:
WARD NOs.: 31, 32, 33, 34, 35, 36, 37, 38, 39, 40.
WARD NOs.: 41, 42, 43, 44, 45 & 47.
Applications are invited from bonafide owners of the house of Ward No 1 to 47 except ward no. 46 for registration relating to house connection of Water under Siliguri Water Supply Scheme for the present.
From Where You Will Get Application Form :-
Registration form will be available from the following places against Rs 50.00 in Cash for domestic / commercial water supply connection.
1> Water Supply Department of Siliguri Municipal Corporation and
2> From the following Borough Committee offices of Siliguri Municipal Corporation:
Borough No. I, II, III, IV & V
Where & How You Will Deposit Application Form:
The registration fees form (pay in slip) duly filled in together with the required amount as given in Para (A) to (C) above shall be deposited in cash in the following banks from 10 AM to 2 PM in all working days accept Saturdays.
1) Indian Overseas Bank, Hill Cart Road, Siliguri.
2) Canara Bank, Sevoke Road, Siliguri, Near Panitanki More.
3) United Bank of India, Pradhan Nagar, Siliguri.
4) United Bank of India, Siliguri Branch.
5) Central Bank of India, Bidhan Market Branch, Siliguri.
6) Union Bank of India, D.B.C. Road, Deshbandhu Para.
Terms & Conditions To Get Water Connection :
1) At the time of making application to the SMC through bank the applicant has to enclose attested xerox copies of upto date holding tax receipt and attested document relating toownership of holding / approved building plan.
2) The authority reserves the right to reject the registration for house connection on technicalground or on administratrive ground and would refund the deposited fees.
3) Application form for water connections to the holdingswill be available from the CorporationBorough Offices excepting Sundays/ holidays on payment of Rs 50 only for each application for domestic as well as commercial holding between 11 am and 2 pm.
4) Application forms will be issued only for the feasible areas which can be seen in the office ofthe Corporation / Borough office during office hours only.
5) All the applications will be considered according to the seriality of the submission of theapplication forms in respect of giving water connection to the holdings.
6) The Applicant mist be a bonafied owner of the house/ tenement having holding no. alloted bySiliguri Municipal Corporation.
7) All the application forms shall be subjected to scrutiny & the sites would be inspected by thedepartment. Application shall be rejected or suspended in case of disparity found in the statement furnished on physical verification.
8) Specially in case of new construction/ building the applicant should have to constructunderground reservoir with installation of call valve / coch before providing of water connectionfrom the end of Siliguri Municipal Corporation.
