How To Track Oriental Insurance Claim Status?
To Intimate Claims Following steps are to be followed :
Step 1 :
Login to the portal by entering your OICL User id and password. Click on Claim tab on your personalized homepage.

Step 2 :
Enter the policy number for which you desire to intimate a claim and fill the claim intimation form. Once submitted, the intimation goes to OICL office in which the policy was underwritten. The online claim intimation only informs Oriental Insurance that a claim has arisen.
Step 3 :
You can view your intimated claims through “My Intimated Claims”. Please note that you are required to visit the OICL office to submit the detailed claim form and other essential documentary evidence to register the claim with Oriental Insurance. Only after the claim is registered with OICL, it will appear on your homepage.

1. Whether Digital Payment Discount is allowed for policies bought through portal?
In line with the initiative of the Government of India, we are providing 10% digital payment discount (subject to a maximum of Rs.2000 per policy) on purchase of NEW POLICIES through our Portal to individual customers in respect of the following products

2. What is Personal Accident Insurance ?
Personal Accident is an insurance cover wherein, in the event of the person sustaining bodily injuries resulting solely and directly from an accident caused by EXTERNAL, VIOLENT & VISIBLE means , resulting into death or disablement.
3. What type of events are covered under Personal Accident Insurance ?
An accident may include events like :
** Rail / Road / Air Accident.
** Injury due to any collision/fall.
** Injury due to Bursting of gas cylinder.
** Snake-bite, Frost bite/Dog bite.
** Burn Injury, Drowning, Poisoning etc. These are only illustrative and not an exhaustive list of type of accidents.
4. What is scope of cover & benefits available under Personal Accidental cover ?
Personal Accidental policy covers accidental death, loss of limbs, permanent total and partial disablement as selected and granted by the insurance companies based on the underwriting norms.
5. Does this policy cover medical expenses incurred due to accident ?
Yes, on payment of additional premium, medical expenses reimbursement can be covered. These expenses are payable, in case, if the claim is admitted under the basic policy cover.
6. What are the other types of covers available for covering accidental injuries ?
In addition to the Personal Accident Insurance cover the policies available are : Nagrik Suraksha Poicy, Janta Personal Accident Policy, Gramin Personal Accidental Policy , Student Package Policies for students, Bhagashree for Girl-children, Raj Rajeshwari for Women etc. Further as an ad-on cover Motor Vehicle Package Policy & Overseas Mediclaim Policy too offer personal accidental injuries cover.
7. What is the age limits under personal accident cover ?
This Policy is available to persons between the age of 5 and 70 years (Male & Female). In case of Family Package covers, the age of children should be between 5 to 19 years. The age ceiling of 70 years can be relaxed in special conditions subject to suitable premium loading.
8. Are there any territorial restrictions applicable to the policy ?
No, the coverage under this policy is WORLDWIDE however, claims, if any, will be paid in Indian currency only.

This is a notice bring you that I am claimed my car insurance towards vehicle repair. By that time I paid the entire amount. As one of your executive by name Thammaiah said that we need to settle the complete amount to get the car from service center. When I asked for the amount he said it will get credit to my account directly! That to with in 7 working day's. So I have shared my account details.. Along with all the other documents! Now it's comes to more than one month still I haven't received any money from your end, even there is no proper response from your executive.
I can't wait for many day's will not tolerate this kind of service. If it's continues for sure will walk in to consumer court I know what I suppose to do how I suppose to take my money. This is highly unacceptable! I am not sure that you people are there for customers service. Will wait for other one day if it's continued I will do what I said above.
