Issue of Duplicate Diploma Certificates & Mark Sheets Government, Government Aided and Self Financing Polytechnic Colleges in the Flood affected Districts of CHENNAI, TIRUVALLUR, KANCHIPURAM AND CUDDALORE – Loss or Damage of Certificates due to floods – Conduct of special camps to receive applications from affected students – Issue of Duplicate Diploma certificates Mark sheets and Consolidated Mark sheets

As part of the flood relief measures, the Government of Tamil Nadu vide G.O. cited above, has issued orders to conduct special camps (to receive applications frorn students for issue of Duplicate Diploma certificates, Mark sheets and Consolidated Mark sheets) in the flood affected districts of CHENNAI, TIRUVALLUR, KANCHIPURAM and CUDDALORE from 14-12-2015 for a period of two weeks.

Hence the Principals of all Government, Governrnent Aided and Self Financing Polytechnic Colleges in the Flood affected Districts of CHENNAI, TIRUVALLUR, KANCHIPURAM AND CUDDALORE are requested to conduct special camps to reach out to the affected students and receive applications for issue of Duplicate certificates in lieu of loss or damaged ones.

Application Procedure :
This will be done free of cost and no charges shall be collected from students. Sample application form to be issued to students is enclosed herewith. One copy of the duly filled application must be given to student and original to be retained at the Institution and a scanned copy rnust be sent to DOTE through the following mail ID immediately. dote. r03.rk@gmail.com

New certificates will be printed at DOTE and sent to respective colleges within one week from the receipt of application. The Principals are requested to strictly adhere to the above and extend their full cooperation so as to execute the task on tirne.

FAQ On DOTE

1. I am a supplementary candidate. Can I pay my diploma exam fee directly at DOTE?
No., Exam fee can be paid only at the respective Polytechnic College.

2. I am a supplementary candidate and would like to write some of my arrear subjects. Whom should I contact to know the equivalent subjects under the latest scheme?
You may contact the Curriculum Development Cell at DOTE.

3. I am a supplementary candidate working outside TamilNadu. Can I download my diploma hall ticket directly from the website?
No. Hall ticket shall be received only from the principal of the respective Polytechnic College.

4. I have just completed my 3 year diploma course. I have some arrears. How many more chances will be given to me to pass all my arrears?
You will be given 6 more chances (3 years) to complete your arrears. After exhausting all 6 chances you will get two more Additional chances in the next calendar year.

5. I appeared for a particular subject in the diploma exam. But the result was not declared by DOTE.
You may approach DOTE Computer center with proof of writing the exam along with a request from your Principal.

6. I have applied on 14th December for my mark sheet but still now I didn’t received any intimation about my mark sheet. Where I will get my mark sheet whether in my school or in chennai itself?

7. Will you please tell me the issuing center in Cuddalore?

9. I finished my diploma in 1988. I lost my certificate in flood. I have no photocopies. Where I need to apply?
No photocopies required to apply for your lost certificate in the applicable districts which are affected by flood. Application form is available in the above pdf.

10. I lost my all books,mark sheet(consolidated mark sheet)and bank books in flood. How can i apply? I have to apply through MK university or my college or special camps which is going in chennai? They ask any documents while apply the mark sheet? Because all are teared. What to do?
