This website is a small step for the help and aid the respected Senior Citizens, who are pensioners especially Pre 1986. This site is basically meant for awakening of pensioners who are 70 plus.

Treasury Officer may also take a hard copy of list of pensioners drawing pension from their treasuries and verify whether they are getting revised pension or not-

Procedure :
** Select the Treasury
** Select Pension Category (Revised/ Un Revised/ All)
** Click on the Submit Button

Accounts General :
We are the inheritors of the Accountant General, North-Western Provinces and Oudh, Agra. Mr.G.Lushington, the then Accountant General, shifted the Office to Allahabad, in October 1862. Boats transported records as there were no Railways those days.

The office was known as that of the Accountant General, United Provinces and Oudh. Consequent to some sort of separation of Accounts, the Chief Accounts Officer of the provincial Government took over the Accounting responsibility from 1st April, 1926, and. the office was titled as that of ‘Director of Audit of the United provinces.’

How GPF account number can be allotted.
Send your application in prescribed proforma through your D.D.O. to A.G.U.P. well before you complete one year of service.

What is the amount of subscription.
The amount should not be less than 10 percent of basic pay and not more than the amount of basic pay.

How to deposit subscription if posted in Foreign Service.
1. If posted in U.P., the amount should be deposited in State Bank of India through Treasury Challan with complete details like GPF Account No., Name of subscriber etc.

2. If posted outside U.P., the amount should be forwarded to Accounts Officer, A.G.U.P. through a Bank Draft of the State Bank of India accompanied by complete details in schedule as well as in the back of the Bank Draft itself.

How to ensure that recovery is made against correct account number.
Verify frequently that only correct account number is given in the G.P.F. schedule prepared by your D.D.O.

How to ensure correct maintenance of G.P.F. Pass Book.
Your Pass book is maintained by your D.D.O. and in case of your transfer it will be forwarded to that Office along with your L.P.C.
1. Verify your Pass Book annually.

2. Ensure that all the subscription, Recovery of advance, Temporary advances and Withdrawal taken by you is correctly entered.
3. All the columns of Pass Book are correctly filled in and certified by your relevant D.D.O. of that posting (separately for debit and credit both) and closing is done properly.

4. There is no cutting, erasing, overwriting in the Pass Book and any correction is properly attested by D.D.O.
5. Only then you sign your Pass Book in token of its annual verification.

How to get a copy of G.P.F. Pass Book.
You are entitled to get a copy of our Pass Book from your DD.O. by depositing prescribed fees.

    Kindly look at trail mail. The pensioner had been drawing pension through Treasury, Varanasi. Being a central govt. pensioner he has been allotted 12 digit PPO No.018728401098 (Old No.UG/32777-retired in 1984). The P&AO (CWC) Water Resouces deptt. has also issued revision as per 6th CPC. CPAO too has
    authorized revised pension to the bank for payment but the bank is unable to make payment in the absence of original PPO and the last payment made by the treasury. This record must be available with the treasury Varanasi. On contacting over phone the Treasury Officer (Sh. Gopal Mishra) has expressed
    his inability to provide the record as the same is not traceable with that office. We request your good office to kindly intervene and direct T.O to provide the PPO (Loss Certificate if lost) and Last Payment Certificate so as to arrange for release of pension to 88 year old pensioner.---
