Please follow these steps below if you are a new user:
1.1 Browse the Plays from view plays lists/ Schedule at the top of the Menu
1.2 Select the play for which you want to book ticket
1.3 Click on next step to choose seat.
1.4 Click on the seats and wait for it to be green as above.
1.5 If you want to book more seats then click continue booking


1.6 Follow the same procedure above
1.7 After final Click on Check Out for complete order
1.8 Enter the Name, Email ID, Area/Location & Contact number as valid. Remember: The invalid mail will not receive any mail (Transaction ID, Booking History, Login Details) from us.
1.9 Complete above to go for payment.
1.10 If your payment will successful then your ticket will booked and you will get welcome mail and login id to the provided email id.
1.11 If payment unsuccessful we will not send you any mail you will get only a mail from EBS.in our payment partner that your transaction is failed by your bank for some issues.

1. Plays in all modern Indian Language, Sanskrit and English.
2. Criticism on plays and playwrights.
3. History and criticism of theatre in India and the world.

On the technical side, the subjects covered are :

5. Acting, Movement & Mime
6. Speech and Voice training
7. Stage Design, Lighting & Make-up
8. Theatre Architecture
9. Designing of Stage Costume

Extension Programs :
Extension Programmes, under which NSD faculty and alumni conduct workshops in various parts of the country, were launched in 1978 and since then has conducted workshops and programs for adults and children across the country including some in Nepal, Sikkim, Ladhakh and Bhutan as well.

The Traditional Theatre Project initiated in 1980 has facilitated creative interaction between traditional and contemporary theatre artists on a regular basis. Along with an introduction to theatre, these workshops also seek to develop personality and expand the emotional horizons of the participants.

About Us :
The National School of Drama is one of the foremost theatre training institutions in the world and the only one of its kind in India. It was set up by the Sangeet Natak Akademi as one of its constituent units in 1959.

In 1975, it became an independent entity and was registered as an autonomous organization under the Societies Registration Act XXI of 1860, fully financed by the Ministry of Culture, Government of India.

Training in the School is highly intensive and is based on a thorough, comprehensive, carefully planned syllabus which covers every aspect of theatre and in which theory is related to practice.
