Apply for Licensing of Food Business :
Eligible Food Business Operators like importers, 100% EoUs, manufacturers, operators in Central Govt. agencies, airports, seaports, etc. need to take a License from the Central Authority.

After issuance of the license, any Modification / Renewal / Request for Duplicate license can be done through the online system. Central License is issued by the FSSAI Regional Offices operating across the nation. This is in pursuant to the FSS Regulations, 2011.
FBOs may go through the eligibility criteria, Fee Structure, Documents details before start using the system. FBOs can also check out the HOW TO APPLY link to understand process of filing the application online.
Fees for Central License :
** New License :- INR 7500/Year
** Renewal License :- INR 7500/Year
** Modification License :- INR 7500/Modification
** Duplicate License :- 10% of the Applicable License Fee

** Form-B Duly completed and signed (In Duplicate) by the Proprietor/Partner or the Authorized Signatory
** Blueprint/layout plan of the processing unit showing the dimensions in metres/square metres and operation-wise area allocation (mandatory for manufacturing and processing units only)
** List of Directors/Partners/Proprietor/Executive Members of Society/Trust with full address and contact details (mandatory for companies only)
** Name and List of Equipments and Machinery along with the number, installed capacity and horse power used (mandatory for manufacturing and processing units only)
Documents for Conversion License :
** Form-B Duly completed and signed (In Duplicate) by the Proprietor/Partner or the Authorized Signatory (mandatory).

FBO receive SMS & Email at each & every steps these are the following

2. How to check status of application?
Go on website and check it by filling application reference no.
3. Where FBO get application reference no?
After completion of application it may be get from Form B or acknowledgement.
4. How much time DO takes to scrutinize the application?
Time prescribed for scrutinization by DO is 15 days from final submission of application.
5. What does operating more than one state means?
If FBO has the food business’s premises situated in two or more state.

We have Unit CSD canteen and we want to renew the license but pay should only made through online? Briefly explain how to apply?
