Gahan Filing :

The first step in Gahan Filing is to create the Username and Password for the Gahan user. To create a login go to ‘keralaregistration.gov.in’ and, click on ‘Online Application’ link.

** Now, Click on the link ‘Gahan Login Registration Form’.

** Fill all mandatory fields before submitting the form.(the starred(*) fields are mandatory). The Society Registration Number is unique. Hence more than one registration of same bank should not be allowed. Society Registration Number prefix with the district code will be given as the username.

** Click on ‘Register’ button after filling the Registration Form. Now, the new screen with username and password will appear with ‘Registered Successfully’ alert. Write down the displayed username and password. Both username and password are case sensitive.

** Use login button to login in to the Gahan Module. More than five unsuccessful login attempt at the same day may lead to the blocking of user account.
** The successful login leads to the online application center of Registration Department, Govt. of Kerala.
** The options available are Gahan Filing, Gahan Release and Search Gahan. Click on the ‘Gahan Filing’ icon to apply for Gahan Filing.

** The Gahan Details Entry Form contains sections like Document Details, Property Details, Executant Details, Claimant Details and Previous Document Details. Each section should be saved separately before submitting the form.

Document Details:
** Document Details should be saved first. The details like Temp. Gahan. No., Book No. and Transaction Type are displayed automatically. No need to enter the Gahan Amount. The Gahan Amount will be updated after saving the property details. After filling the details, click on ‘Save Document’ button.

** After saving the document details, one can stop the procedure and can submit the application later. The pending application can be viewed by repeating the process as in Fig. 7. Click on ‘View’ icon to view the form. The details saved before will be displayed in the form and can edit.

Property Details:
The starred(*) fields are mandatory. Select unit as ‘M’ for land details in Hectare, Are and Sq.Mtr. Select unit as ‘F’ for land details in Acre, Cent and Sq.links. If more than one Sub Division Number is available for Resurvey or Old Survey Number, save them as different properties. After filling the necessary details, click on ‘Save Property’ button.

The list of saved property details are displayed below the Property details entry.
Click on ‘Edit’ icon to edit the saved property details. After changing the details, use ‘Update Property’ to update the details.

Executant Details:
After filling the necessary details, click on ‘Save Executant’ icon. More than one Executant details can be saved.

Claimant Details:
Claimant Details are the details of Bank which is going to file the Gahan. The Secretary/ Manager Name should be given as ‘Secretary/ Manager’. After filling the necessary details, click on ‘Save Claimant’ button.

Previous Document Details:
After filling the necessary details, click on ‘Save Previous Doc’ button to save the Previous Document Details. More than one PR Details can be saved.

** After saving every sections in the form, submission is the final step. For that, fill the Details of person authorized to present the Gahan Filing Application. Click on ‘Submit’ button to submit the form.
** The successful completion of the Gahan Application submission leads to the following screen.
** Now, the acknowledgement form can be viewed and printed by clicking ‘View & Print Acknowledgement’ button.
** The status of the Gahan Application can be viewed by clicking ‘Search Gahan’ option from the Home Page.
** The list of applications can be viewed by clicking ‘Search’ button
** The status of the application will be displayed in the list. The incomplete applications may reject in Sub Registrar Office. These applications shows ‘Rejected’ status in the list.
** Click on ‘Re-submit’ button to Submit the application again.
** After successful completion of filing Gahan against the submitted application, the status will be ‘Gahan Filed’. The Actual Gahan Number is also displayed in the list. The release request for the Filed Gahan can be performed by clicking ‘Release’.
