Department of P&PW has introduced an online Pension Sanction and Payment Tracking System called ‘BHAVISHYA’. Actions for timely payment of retirement dues and issue of Pension Payment Order (PPO) start one years before the date of retirement of the employee.

There are a number of intervening stages and the system will pinpoint delays at each stage to enable timely interventions. The tracking can be done by the retiring employee as well as the administrative authorities.
In addition, forms required during the process are available in electronic format. The retiring employee can fill the forms online. It facilitates the administrative authorities by processing the claims and passing on the calculated amounts and other details to the Pay and Accounts Offices.
The new system will also capture personal information, service data and contact details like mobile number and e-mail etc. The retiring employees will be kept informed of the progress of pension sanction process through SMS/E-mail.
The completed application form, duly signed by the Applicant and the competent Authority of department, should be submitted to Support Center at “NIC, 381 C-Wing, Lok Nayak Bhawan, Khan Market, New Delhi-110003” or send scanned copy to bhavishya[at]nic.in contact no.:24640650 & 24640651).

How to get connected on Bhavishya Portal ?
Bhavishya Portal will be connected thorough its website. Retiree will received login id and password through E-mail and SMS automatically. DDO & HOO has to get registered on Bhavishya for login id and password.
Is it mandatory to follow the timelines ?
Yes, it is mandatory to follow the timelines as prescribed in the CCS (Pension) Rules, 1972 and subsequent orders issued from time to time by the D/o Pension & Pensioner Welfare.
Can HOO play the role of DDO in his/her absence ?
Yes, HOO has all the rights of DDO but DDO cannot play the role of HOO with DDO login.
Can Retiree change the uploaded scanned images (Single photograph, Joint photograph and Signature) ?
Yes, retiree can replace the previously uploaded photograph with the new one, before submitting forms to HOO.
Can retiree edit his/her details after submitting pension forms to HOO ?
No, after submitting pension forms, HOO has to return back the forms if further necessary changes required in retiree forms.
Whether DDO has to generate and upload the XML file every month from Salary package into Bhavishya ?
Yes, because XML file contains the Salary information and some basic details about the retiree required by the system for their pension process.
