Renewal of Registration :

** For online renewal of Registration your Email id and Cell Phone number are mandatory. Please enter your Email id and Cell Phone number in the prescribed format and submit the duly signed format to Karnataka Veterinary Council by post.

** Online renewal is optional. Renewal can also be done in person at Karnataka Veterinary Council.
** Online renewal is accepted 90 days prior to expiry of validity of registration.

Online Renewal Process:
STEP-1: Know your validity of Registration, visit KVC Website
STEP-2: Deposit the prescribed amount in the Bank through Cheque of State Bank of India or through RTGS only. Please don’t deposit Cash.

STEP-3: Fill up the Bank payment details and click the “Submit” button. You will receive an OTP (One Type Password) on your cell phone. Enter the OTP and click “Submit” button again.
STEP-4: You will receive message. “Renewal Under Process”
STEP-5: After completing the renewal process in Karnataka Veterinary Council you will receive message. “your registration is Renewed up to ——–”

STEP-6: A webpage link will be sent to your email through which you will take a printout of the “UNIQUE RECEIPT CUM RENEWAL OF REGISTRATION”. This unique receipt can be opened only once. Please ensure you have a printer before opening the webpage link. The printed receipt should be pasted on backside of your Registration Certificate.

Registration confers right to practice as Veterinary Professional according to his qualification and it is a statutory requirement.

No person other than a registered Veterinary Practitioner shall hold office as Veterinary Physician or Surgeon or any other like office in Government or in any Institutions and practice Veterinary Medicine in any State

How often the Registrations are required to be renewed?
The Registration is valid for a period of 5 years and is to be renewed within one year before 1st April of the year to which it relates.

What are the documents to be produced for Registration?
i. Form of Application for Registration (Form VIII);
ii. Original Degree Certificate;
iii. Proof of Date of Birth;
iv. 2 Passport size and 2 Stamp size Photos and two attested copies of these credentials are to be submitted in person along with prescribed fee.

Is it necessary for Veterinary Professionals to register in both K.V.C. and I.V.C.?
Not necessarily. The Registration particulars will be communicated from this office to I.V.C. who will automatically incorporate in their Register.

Who is eligible for Registration in Karnataka Veterinary Council?
Graduates in Veterinary Science Possessing recognized Veterinary qualification and who is residing in Karnataka State.
