ITS Online Application Management System :
ITS scheme is designed to provide financial assistance for presenting a research paper or chairing a session or delivering a keynote address in an international scientific event (conference/seminar/symposium/workshop etc.).

In addition, support is also provided to young scientists (age limit 35 years as on date of conference) for attending training programmes and short-term schools/workshops/courses. Economy class air-fare by shortest route, airport-tax and visa fees are provided under the scheme. Registration Fee is provided to young scientist in addition to the above support.
How and When to Apply:
The researchers are required to apply online through the portal its.serb.gov.in between 60-90 days in advance prior to the start date of the event. The system will not accept early or late submission of applications.
Instructions:
SERB ITS online portal url is : its.serb.gov.in . The applicant is advised to download the formats and keep the necessary information ready before start filling the application. It is to be noted that the applicant will be able to submit the applications only between 60 and 90 days prior to the date of start of the Event. The system will not accept late or even early submission of applications.
Step – 1: Online Registration
** The applicant needs to register on the portal. The Registration contains essential details about the applicant.
** Your registered email ID is the LoginId.
** After successful registration process, you will receive a mail from its-serb[AT]nic[DOT]in. This mail will contain a LoginId and a link, using which you need to create a password.Please note that the link is valid for 6 hours only.
** If link does not work, click on “Forgot Password” link available on the Home page of https://web.archive.org/web/20190304052606/http://its.serb.gov.in:80/ to get the email again. Using this LoginId and the password, the applicant can fill and submit the application.
Step – 2: Submission of Application
** This section contains personal details of the Applicant, Technical and Financial details of the event and few necessary uploads (in pdf format).
** After entering the details, uploading and saving the documents, the Applicant can view the contents by clicking on “PREVIEW ” button displayed in the “Upload Files” Section.
** After submitting the necessary details given in the application module, an on-screen acknowledgement containing Application number will appear.
** This process should be completed between 60 and 90 days prior to the date of start of the Event.
** The submitted application will be considered by a committee constituted by the Science and Engineering Research Board, and the decision will be communicated through email.
** The applicant can also track the status of the application by logging into the Online system. The decision will be announced between 30-45 days prior to the start of the event.
Important Points To Be Noted:
** You need to provide a well functional email ID. All communications will be sent only through this registered email id.
** The applicant can submit any number of applications one after other.
** The selection of the application for support depends on number of parameters such as the importance of the event, track record of the applicant, available resources etc.
** There is a three year cooling period for all the applicants who have availed support under this scheme. They are eligible to apply only after the expiry of the 3 year period.

** The mails to applicants are being sent from email its-serb[AT]nic[DOT]in. This email is not monitored and hence will not be responded.
** The communications regarding the scheme must be addressed to the email ms[DOT]its[At]serb[DOT]gov[DOT]in.
