TSBOCWW Board Beneficiary Registration

** A building & other construction worker who has completed 18 years of age but has not completed 60 years of age and engaged in any building or other construction work for not less than 90 days during the preceding 12 months is eligible for registration.

** The worker can submit filled in application form XXVII with certificate of employment issued by any officer of the labour department not below the rank of Asst. Labour Officer upon his personal verification on the request made by the worker or by a Trade Union of Construction workers, Registered Establishment, Government organizations or agencies engaged in building industry,

** two pass port size photos, the age proof by way of school certificate or doctor’s certificate.
** A sum of Rs.50/- towards registration fees and Rs.12/- as membership fee per annum (or) Rs.60/- for five years to the concerned Asst. Labour Officers.
** Nomination specifying the names of dependants in the application form for the purpose of delivery of benefits in case of death of the worker. “Dependants” shall have the same meaning assigned to it under Section 2 (1)

(d) of the WC Act, 1923.
** Nomination can be modified at any time after giving a written notice to the Inspectors.

Benefits for the Worker:
As per the provisions of the Building & Other Construction Workers (RE&CS) Act, 1996, every building & construction worker registered as a beneficiary under this Act is entitled to avail benefits under various schemes formulated by TELANGANA Building & Other Construction Workers Welfare Board.

Presently the following welfare schemes are being provided to the registered construction workers
** Marriage Gift
** Maternity Benefit
** Fatal Accident Relief
** Disability Relief
a) Total Permanent Disability
b) Partial Permanent Disability
** Natural Death Relief
** Hospitalization relief
** Funeral Expenses
** Pension Scheme NPS – Lite, 2010 (Swalamban)
** Skill Development Training
** Vocational training to the dependents
** Relief to the unregistered workers
** Disability Aids & Appliances

How To Get Renewal?

Renewal Fee of Rs.12/- per annum (or) Rs.60/- for five years payable at any SBH Branch in the STate by way of Challan to the SB A/c No:62371607136. To submit the copy of Challan form to the concerned Asst. Labour Officer for renewal.

About Us :
The Telangana Building & Other Construction Workers Welfare Board was established by the Government of Telangana State under Section 18 of Building & Other Construction Workers (RE&CS) Act, 1996 primarily for formulating and implementing the various Welfare schemes for the benefit of the Building & Other Construction Workers in the Telangana State. The Board has come into existence with effect from 17-09-2014.

Functions of TSBOCWW Board

The TBOCWWB’s functions include:
** Registering building and other construction workers: The Board is responsible for registering building and other construction workers in the state. This registration is essential for workers to avail of the benefits provided by the Board.
** Providing financial assistance: The Board provides financial assistance to building and other construction workers in the event of accidents, death, disability, and retirement.
** Providing medical benefits: The Board provides medical benefits to building and other construction workers through its network of hospitals and dispensaries.
** Providing training and skill development: The Board provides training and skill development to building and other construction workers to help them improve their employability.
** Providing housing facilities: The Board provides housing facilities to building and other construction workers through its own housing schemes or by providing financial assistance to workers to build their own homes.
** Providing other welfare measures: The Board also provides other welfare measures to building and other construction workers, such as providing scholarships to their children, organizing cultural events, and providing legal aid.
