SMS Alert Services :

The Hon’ble Sri Justice Dilip B. Bhosale, the Acting Chief Justice, High Court of Judicature at Hyderabad for the State of Telangana and the State of Andhra Pradesh has launched on 15th August, 2015 the SMS alerts service system which was developed by the NIC, Hyderabad for sending SMS alerts in respect of the cases filed in the High Court and also for knowing the hearing status of cases in the Court Halls for the benefit of the advocates and parties-in-person.

Through said SMS alerts, the status of cases filed, returned, represented and assignment of main case numbers will be informed to the advocates and parties-in-person, who have registered their mobile numbers with the High Court.

The text of SMS alerts for the cases filed, returned, represented and registered will be as under
WPSR <Number> is allotted to the case of <name of the petitioner> filed on <date>.
WPSR <Number> returned with objections on <date> for compliance.
WPSR <Number> has been re-presented on <date>and will be processed for scrutiny.
WPSR <Number> is scrutinized and numbered as WP <number> on <date>.

Further, SMS alerts on case hearing status in the Court Halls to advocates and parties-in-person will also be provided through the aforesaid application.
Initially, this facility will be provided from two court halls namely Court Hall Nos 25 and 26 on trial basis.

The following is the feature of the SMS alerts:
For example, if item No.1 is being heard in court hall No.26, SMS will be sent to the advocate having case at Serial No.7 and another SMS to the advocate having case at Serial No.4.

The text of the SMS alert will be as follows :
1. Item No.1 is taken up in Court Hall No.26. Your case is listed at item No.7.
(this message will be sent to the advocate having case at serial No.7)

2. Item No.1 is taken up in Court Hall No.26. Your case is listed at item No.4.
(this message will be sent to the advocate having case at serial No.4).
Steps are being taken to provide more such services in future to the advocates and parties-in-person by using the advances made in information technology.

NOTICE :
1. Entry of the staff of the High Court into the premi ses of the High Court will not be permitted without photo identity card issued by the High Court.
2. Entry of the Advocates into the premises of the High Court will not be permitted, unless they carry a photo identity card issued either by the Bar Council of Andhra Pradesh or by the Advocates’ Associations of the High Court of Judicature at Hyderabad.

3. Identity cards will be verified at the entry gate of the High Court.
4. Apart from carrying photo identity cards, all Advocates, except designated Senior Advocates, Law Officers, Office Bearers of the Bar Associations of the High Court, should also carry either a proof of having a case listed before any Court for the day or proof of having a sufficient cause for entry, to be permitted to enter into the High Court premises.

5. If any Advocate or a group of Advocates, including office bearers of the Bar Associations, is seen requesting, persuading or forcing other Advocate/s waiting in the Court Hall for his/their turn/hearing, Presiding Judge of the Court may pass appropriate order against such Advocate/s, including issue of notice of contempt of Court, since such activity would amount to interference in the administration of justice.

6. If any Advocate or a group of Advocates is seen preventing entry of any Advocate or party in person into the Court Hall and if any such incident is reported to the presiding Judge or if it is seen in CCTV footage, serious action will be taken against such Advocate or group of Advocates, including issue of notice of contempt of Court.

7. No Advocate will be allowed to disturb Court proceedings. Similarly, no Advocate or group of Advocates will be allowed to shout slogans and if it is noticed by the presiding Judge that any Advocate indulging in such activity may take appropriate action, including issue of notice of contempt of Court, against such Advocate/s.

8. For any grievance, the person (s) concerned may approach the Registrar General or the Officer authorized by the Registrar General.
9. All the advocates of the High Court are requested to cooperate for smooth functioning of the Court proceedings.
