Under financial support of NAIP, all the e-Course Contents available on this website have been developed by subject matter specialist of the respective disciplines at State Agricultural Universities in India and Deemed Universities of ICAR, New Delhi.

The courses material is prepared as per ICAR approved syllabus for the benefit of under-graduate students already enrolled in Indian Agricultural Universities.

Education Division undertakes planning, development, coordination and quality assurance in higher agricultural education in the country and, thus, strives for maintaining and upgrading quality and relevance of higher agricultural education through partnership and efforts of the components of the ICAR-Agricultural Universities (AUs) System comprising State Agricultural Universities (SAUs), Deemed to be universities (DUs), Central Agricultural University (CAU) and Central Universities (CUs) with Agriculture Faculty.

Free Online facility is provided for the Faculty, Students and others interested in agricultural education. The desired course contents may be read online.

Steps for Online e-Learning:
The following instructions may be followed to Read e-course contents online.
1.On the Home Page Click on the desired UG level online e-course like ( B.Sc. (Horticulture) link. The following page will appear.

In case you are an already registered user, the following step number 2 &3 will be ignored by the system and directly the webpage containing link of e-courses to read will appear. Then proceed from step number 4.

2.For the first time, new user will have to register by submitting his/her brief identity details
3.On submitting of the brief details, a page containing message “Welcome to online e-Learning on Agricultural Education” then click here to go to Selected Course link will appear.
4.Click on “Click here to go to Selected Course”.
5.Then Following Link will open ”14.139.56.154:82/course/category.php?id=x”.
6.Use “login as a guest” to read the desired course contents.
7.Enjoy reading the course

Objectives :
1. Establishment of an independent web based integrated e-learning portal for Agricultural Education.

2. A useful tool for the agricultural education e-courses data management related to all disciplines of Agriculture Sciences including Veterinary, Animal Science, Fisheries, Dairy, Horticulture and Home science etc.

3. An effective tool and solution for Refinement, Updation, Maintenance and Sustenance of the e-learning courseware contents developed under Learning and Capacity Building program of NAIP.

4. For remote area institutions/ faculty/ students, e-learning courseware has been made available as downloadable component from the same portal. This will eliminate the process of physical supply of e-courses on (CDs / DVDs) by post/courier services.

5. The reporting through this system will help in quantitatively measuring utility of the system and impact assessment.
