Swarn Jayanti Guru Darshan Yatra Scheme :
This scheme may be called the Swarn Jayanti Swarn Jayanti Guru Darshan Yatra Scheme, 2016.
This scheme will be commenced w.e.f. 1st April, 2016 and Financial Assistance will be provided to those applicants who complete the Yatra after this date.

Objects of scheme :
i) Financial Assistance shall be provided to maximum 50 (fifty) number of pilgrims who are resident of Haryana Have completed the Swarn Jayanti Guru Darshan Yatra through the State Govt./Centre Govt./Society.
ii) The Financial Assistance will be provided upto the extent of Rs. 6,000/- or fifty percent of the actual expenditure per person which ever is less.
Definitions :
i. “Administrative Secretary” means the Principle Secretary Tourism, Govt. of Haryana.
ii. “Director” means the Director General/Director Tourism Department Haryana.
iii. “Government” means Haryana Government in the Administrative Department.
iv. “Eligible Pilgrim” means the resident of Haryana who complete the Swarn Jayanti Guru Darshan Yatra through the Concerned State/Central Govt./ Society.
v. “Society” means Society registered under Society registration Act.
Process for payment :
1. A pilgrim who has completed the Swarn Jayanti Guru Darshan Yatra shall submit the application within two months after completion of the Yatra through the State/Central Govt./Society to the Director Tourism Department, Haryana.
2. After scrutiny of the documents received from the State/Central Govt./Society the Director Tourism Department Haryana shall submit the same within 15 (fifteen) days to the Administrative Secretary Government of Haryana, Tourism Department for approval.
3. Thereafter the requisite sanction shall be issued for payment for financial assistance through a Demand Draft.
Eligibility condition for the Scheme :
1. The Financial assistance shall be admissible to the permanent resident of the Haryana State.
2. He/She should complete the Yatra through the State Govt./Central Govt./Society and the completion certificate in this regard must be submitted by the State/Central Govt./Society and enclosed with the application.
3. The Financial Assistance shall be given only once to a pilgrim.
Documents submitted with the application :
The application form in the Prescribed Format enclosed at Annexure “A” shall be required to submitted to the Director, alongwith following documents:-
1. Attested Copy of the Permanent Residential Certificate (Domicile) of Haryana.
2. Attested Copy of the Yatra Completion Certificate from the State Govt./Central Govt./Society.
3. Attested copy of required Visa and Passport, if required.
4. Declaration from the pilgrim that He/She never claim this Financial Assistance earlier and would not claim it in future.
