Broadband/ Triband Registration :

2. User / Login ID
I. Should be filled in Capital letters(only for the purpose of filling this form.In Customer Selfcare use it should be entered in lowercase and must be restricted to four to eight characters.
II. Should be unique name – not as common one. It can be a combination of alphabets and numerals but not** starting with a numeral.It must not include any special characters/symbol either.
III. Out of the two choices – whichever is accepted by the system – will be selected. If both are not** accepted,customer will be contacted for yet another one.
3. For future corespondence quote Your Login ID /Password ref. number.
4. Availabilityof service subject to subscriber location and technical feasibility.
5. After workorder is generated concerned area persons will contact you for installation of Telephone.

Upload Speed:
1)For 2Mbps, 4Mbps & 6Mbps Plans: 768Kbps upto Fair Usage Policy (FUP) quota and 512 Kbps afterwards.
2)For 8Mbps,10Mbps & 16Mbps Plans (given on ADSL): 1Mbps upto Fair Usage Policy (FUP) quota and 512 Kbps afterwards.
3)For All Plans (given on Line bonding): 2Mbps upto Fair Usage Policy (FUP) quota and 512 Kbps afterwards.
4)10Mbps VDSL Plans : 5Mbps upto Fair Usage Policy (FUP) quota and 512 Kbps afterwards.
** Customer may buy additional upload speed as per existing tariff.
** Customer may also use Data Top Ups to get pre FUP speed after exhausting FUP Quota.
** In combo plans Rent free Landline will be provided with no free calls and outgoing calls will charged at Re.1 per pulse (as per Landline 250 plan).
** Customer may also use Landline Add-on Packs for making landline calls.
** SMS/Email notification will be sent after reaching 80% and 100% FUP limit of your plan.
** Customers who want BB plan alongwith their existing Landline plan may choose Non-Combo plan.
** Fair Usage Policy in all FUP plans is applicable for one calendar month. Fresh FUP as per selected plan is made available to customer from 1st of every month.
** Existing customer migrating to FUP plan or customer booking new broadband in between a month will get Fair Usage Policy on proportionate basis for the remaining days of the month.
** Monthly CPE (Modem) Charges for MTNL provided CPE: Rs. 50/-
** MTNL supplied Broadband CPE (Modem/Router) belongs to MTNL and in event of non-return of equipment customer will have to pay applicable charges.
** Port Charges of Rs.150 per month will be applicable if connection given using Line-bonding technology utilizing two lines/ports.
** The data usage limit wherever mentioned includes downloads and uploads.
** Service Tax extra as applicable.
** 4 Mbps and above plans can be taken as Standalone Broadband category i.e 4 Mbps and above plans can be taken without landline connection.
** In combo plans Calls to any Landline & Mobile Network Both Mumbai as well as Delhi shall be free between 10:00 PM to 07:00 AM.
** In combo plans all STD calls shall be charged 1 MCU per 180 sec between 10:00 PM to 07:00 AM .
Important Tips :
** Switch off CPE when not in use.
** To avail Unlimited Free Internet Usage during night (00.00 hrs to 08.00 Hrs) in TriB 590NU Plan Switch ON CPE during Night after 00.00 hrs and ensure disconnection before 08.00 hrs.
** In case of power off/on CPE, please wait for 2-3 min before connecting to Internet
** Do not use any other power adaptor than the one supplied with CPE
** Don’t use the ‘Restore Factory Default Setting’ option in the CPE
** Keep TCP/IP Properties settings in your PC as Obtain IP automatically and DNS Server Address as : Preferred DNS (Primary) 59.185.3.10 and Alternate DNS (Secondary) : 59.185.3.11
** The splitter provided should be connected at the entering point of 2-wire Tel cable of MTNL. Additional Extension /Phone if any shall be connected only after splitter.
** The Phone, DSL Modem/Router and Tel line shall be connected to splitter as per marking/Sign writing on the Splitter supplied with CPE
** In case USB port is used, ensure CPE USB driver is installed on PC before connecting the USB cable
** DSL_TRIB_T10 (Times based plan) customers should switch OFF the modem when not in use to avoid time-based billing of idle modem (ON) time.

Send SMS “BBUSAGE ” to “58708”.
for e.g. send sms “BBUSAGE 12345678” to 58708
Triband users having username with suffix as @a (like 23236666@a), send sms “BBUSAGE @a” to 58708.
for e.g. send sms “BBUSAGE 23236666@a” to 58708
To register your Dolphin/Trump mobile numbers:
** Go to website register.mtnl.net.in
** Login with your username and password.
** Click on “Update your mobile number” link.
** Triband users having username with suffix as @a –
** Go to website register.mtnl.net.in
** Click “Triband users having username with suffix as @a (like 23236666@a)”
** Update your profile.
