1.What is the portal about?
This portal will be a single point of access to the citizens, for either information or transactional purposes.One of the goals of the Government is to cooperate, collaborate and integrate information across different departments in the Centre, States and Local Government.It is served through this portal.
2.How to register?
In any page in the portal, you can see “sign in” in the top right.Citizens, departmental users, CSC users can select their respective login option.On clicking that, you will be taken to a sign in page,where you also have an option of creating an account.
Clicking on that and filling up the required details will provide you the login ID and password through which you can avail the services.
About Us :
The National Social Assistance Programme(NSAP) is a welfare programme being administered by the Ministry of Rural Development. This programme is being implemented in rural areas as well as urban areas.
NSAP represents a significant step towards the fulfillment of the Directive principles of State Policy enshrined in the Constitution of India which enjoin upon the State to undertake within its means a number of welfare measures.
Implementation of NSAP scheme :
The NSAP is implemented in the States/UTs in accordance with the general conditions applicable to all components of the NSAP as well as specific condition applicable to each component. The NSAP schemes are mainly implemented by the Social Security Departments in the States.
