1. When is stamp duty and registration fee payable?
On the date of registration of the stamp duty document and the date of registration fee i.e. date of signature of the executor and date of registration, the stamp and registration fee are payable at the prevailing rate according to the law.
2. What is the stamp tax payable?
Stamp taxes are payable in non judicial stomp paper and as an additive stomp. Francs can also be made by depositing the amount of fixed stamp duty in the authorized bank. There is also provision for stamp payment as an e-stomp.
But in the following circumstances cash or invoices or DD is also payable by:
i. The amount of additional tax under section 54 of the Stamp Act is endorsed by the registration officer, by collecting the cash or invoice or DD, on the certificate.
ii. Reduction by the Collector (stamp) is stipulated on the document by stamping, stamp duty or challan or DD by recovering stamp dues in cases of stamp duty, misplaced and inaccurate nature.
3. Who is responsible for stamping tax?
If the parties have a clear agreement about stamp duty or the liability has been fixed in the document, then the parties will be stamped to the said responsibility.
If there is no contract or agreement in this regard, then in the case of the sale of the buyer, lease or lease agreement, leasehold lease agreement, all parties in the exchange equally and in the division according to the share of all the parties and others. Under the obligation, it is the duty of stamping (Section 32 Stamp Act)
4. On the claim of court in compliance with the contract, if the documents are executed by the court order, the stamp tax will be payable at the rate of the date?
