Instruction For Digital Signature Certification Registration/Deregistration

New Signatory Registration
Applicable for the dealers for first time DSC registration. The steps are as follows
** Step 1Enter User ID and Password of the Dealer to Login for registration

** Step 2Dealer information will appear with a link for DSC registration.Click on the link
** Step 3Select particular option either to insert Smart Card or browse the certificate file
** Step 4Press Read Card button.
** Step 5Either Insert Smart Card/USB token or browse the digital Signature certificate file & provide PIN
** Step 6Press the Submit button
** Step 7After successful reading press Register button
** Step 8Confirm registration and provide additional information for further communication

Subsequent Signatory Registration
Applicable for the dealers who have registered DSC before and want to add more signatory. The steps are as follows
** Step 1Enter User ID and Password of the Dealer to Login for registration
** Step 2Dealer information will appear with the DSC registration. Click on the link & the list of name of previously registered signatories will be displayed.
** Step 3Select one signatory who can vouch for the new signatory
** Step 4Select particular option either to insert Smart Card or browse the certificate file
** Step 5Press Read Card button
** Step 6Either Insert Smart Card of the selected signatory or browse the Digital Signature Certificate file of the selected signatory & Provide PIN.Press Submit button
** Step 7On successful reading press Continue button
** Step 8Either Insert Smart Card or USB Token of the new DSC Or Browse your Digital Signature Certificate file & Provide PIN. Press the Submit button
** Step 9After successful reading press Register button
** Step 10 Confirm registration and provide additional information for further communication
*NB :Maximum five Authorised signatories are allowed to register for every dealer

Signatory De-Registration
** Step 1Enter User ID and Password of the Dealer to Login for registration
** Step 2Dealer information will appear along with the link for deregistration.Click on the link & the list of name of previously registered signatories will be displayed
** Step 3Select the checkBox for deregistration.
** Step 4Click on the button for deregistration. An alert is appeared, if you click OK then deregistration process continues, Otherwise click Cancel.
* NB :Drs are only allowed to deregister the registered signatory if registered signatory is expired.

The Directorate of Commercial Taxes, West Bengal is headed by the Commissioner of Commercial Taxes. Below the Commissioner, there are two Special Commissioners. There are Additional Commissioners, Sr. Joint Commissioners, Joint Commissioners, Deputy Commissioners, Commercial Tax Officers and Assistant Commercial Tax Officers to assist the Commissioner.

State of West Bengal is divided into 16 Circles. A Circle is headed a Sr. Joint Commissioner of Commercial Taxes. He is supported by other Sr. Joint Commissioners and Joint Commissioners. They exercise administrative, appellate and revisional jurisdiction over the Charges under the Circles.
