Update FATCA/CRS Detail :
With implementation of Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act (FATCA) and Common Reporting Standard (CRS), Income Tax Department, under Section 285BA of the Income Tax Act 1961,

has made it mandatory for all individual customers / entities i.e., Resident Indians, Non Resident Indians (NRIs), Persons of Indian Origins (PIOs), Overseas Citizens of India (OCIs) and Foreign Nationals to submit the relevant FATCA/CRS declaration.
In view of the above, you are requested to contact your Branch and submit the required FATCA/CRS declaration and related documents at the earliest.
Note : If you are a tax resident only of India, only declaration in the format is sufficient and no supporting document is required. However, if you are a tax resident of any country other than India, the following documents are required along with the declaration
** Copy of passport.
** Copy of visa/OCI card/PIO card/Green Card/Resident card of relevant country.
** TIN (Tax Identification Number) allotted to your by your resident country*.
* TIN not required for residents of countries where TIN is not issued (Non TIN issuing countries viz, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain, Oman etc.)
Call Center :
Union Bank of India has, through the Call Centre, introduced still another uninterrupted 24x7x365 banking service to its customers. The Bank is now just a call away from the public in general and its customers in particular, for their banking needs.
The Call Centre ,being one of the delivery channels, will offer banking facilities through Interactive Voice Response (IVR) as well as through a human interface by connecting the customer to the Call Centre executive.
Calls can be taken by the IVR in 7 Regional languages (Malayalam, Marathi, Gujarathi, Bengali, Kannada, Tamil, Telugu) besides Hindi and English.
The IVR will provide certain banking services e.g. Account Information, Current Balance, last five transactions etc to those customers who have registered with a PIN, without requiring them to speak to an agent.
The IVR also facilitates the customer in hotlisting their debit cards, seeding their Aadhar number, Stop payment of cheque etc. without speaking to the customer care executive.
At any point of time during the call, the caller can switch to an agent for any information on Banks products and services, for placing any service requests or to lodge any complaint.
