Police Clearance Certificate :

Eligibility For PCC :
1. Applicant must be an Indian citizen and a resident of Hyderabad Police Commissionerate limits.

2. Applicant must possess a valid original Passport.
3. An applicant can apply if he / she resides abroad.

How To Apply :
1. Fill your particulars in the application form and personal particular form and take a print out of the same (one copy of Application Form and three copies of Personal Particulars Forms).
2. Affix one passport size photograph of 35 x 45 mm size on Application Form and one on each Personal Particulars Form i.e, 3.
3. The applicant should come in person to submit the required documents after 24 hrs of applying online.The verification process will start only after submitting the required documents.

Applying From India :
1. Challan should be paid at any e-seva for an amount of Rs.500. Challan receipt in duplicate should be brought during the collection of PCC.
2. Copy of online Application Form (1 copy).
3. Copy of online Personal Particulars Form (5 copies).
4. Clear Xerox of all pages of all passports including blank pages, ensuring the print of Dotted number of the passport, along with original passport for verification.
5. Residential proof of present address and previous places of stay if any in Hyderabad City limits viz., (One of the following).
** BSNL telephone bill
** Electricity Bill
** Gas connection paper
** Lease deed in case of rented house
** Household supply card ( ration card )
** Voter identity card
** Employer letter confirming residential address
** Statement of bank account from nationalized banks only
** Residential Certificate from MRO

6. Purpose of PCC (Proof of letter)-PCC requirement letter from consulate or acknowledgment copy of application submitted at consulate for visa or instructions of the concerned country for PCC.
7. Two different Affidavits of the two serving Government Servants on Rs.10/- non judicial stamp paper.
8. Six {6} Photographs should be pasted on the application form which you are bringing during collection and two {2} should be submitted to the field verification officer during field enquiry.
9. No objection certificate from the Head of the Department/Employer, if the applicant is an employee.
10. Study certificate (if the applicant is a student).
11. The applicant should also mention clearly the period of stay in Hyderabad City with date.
12. If the applicant is married, she/he should submit marriage certificate.

Applying From Abroad :
1. An Indian passport holder staying out side India should send an authorization letter addressed to the Commissioner of Police Hyderabad authorizing any relative staying in India to collect PCC on his behalf. Authorization letter should be attested by the Indian Embassy where the applicant is presently staying.
2. Challan should be paid at any e-seva for an amount of Rs.500. Challan receipt in duplicate should be brought during collection of PCC. The details of challan can be obtained from the person who has paid.
3. Copy of online Application Form (1 copy).
4. Copy of online Personal Particulars From (5 copies).
5. Clear Xerox of all pages of all passports including blank pages, ensuring the print of Dotted number of the passport.
6. Residential proof of stay in Hyderabad City limits viz., (One of the following)

8. Two different Affidavits of the two serving Government Servants on Rs.10/- non judicial stamp paper.
9. Six {6} Photographs should be pasted on the application form which you are bringing during collection and two {2} should be submitted to the field verification officer during field enquiry.
10. The applicant should also mention clearly the period of stay in Hyderabad City with date.
11. The applicant should obtain the attestation from concerned Embassy on authorization letter to collect PCC in India.

Fee And Charges :
1. Challan should be paid at any e-seva for an amount of Rs- 500.

Instructions For Filling The Application :

1. Applicant is advised to read all the instructions clearly before applying for Police Clearance Certificate online.
2. Applicant should pay the challan first and fill the application later with Challan details (Challan Transaction number should be entered).
3. Applicant must check all the data entered carefully before submitting online. Details cannot be edited once the application is submitted.
4. If any wrong entry is made by an applicant, then those mistakes (Errors) can be edited only in the Office of FRO, Hyderabad.
5. A confirmation screen with relevant data and information will be displayed.
6. On confirmation, an acknowledgment, Application Form and Personal Particulars Form will be displayed. The acknowledgment will contain a unique 16-digit Application number.
7. The applicant is requested to save and print this Acknowledgment, Application Form and Personal Particulars Form.
8. Applicant should affix one recent color photograph (size 35mm x 45mm) in the space provided in the PCC Application Form and one each on three {3} Personal Particulars Forms. The photograph should not be stapled or clipped.
9. The mode of Payment must be in the form of Challan only. Challan is valid for one application only.
10. If the applicant requires more than one PCC, he/she should pay separate challans and fill online PCC application separately.
11. If the applicant approaches FRO, Hyderabad after 30 days from online application, it will be deemed to be cancelled and fees will be forfeited.
12. PCC will be issued only after receipt of all the required documents.

Process Time :
The Processing of your application will take an approximate of 10 working days as it involves scrutiny and cross checks by other relevant departments. The certificate will be handed to your once the procedural norms are met. If you have not received within 10 days do contact us.
