Go to PCC Home page and click on Request Acknowledgement and follow the steps.
IS THIS SERVICE AVAILABLE UNDER TATKAL SCHEME? :
This service is not available under Tatkal Scheme
WHOM AND WHERE TO APPROACH TO GET PCC? :
a. To get PCC, First you need to apply PCC in online (Please read and follow the instructions carefully before applying for PCC) and approach “The Joint Commissioner Of Police (Special Branch), Hyderabad”.

HOW SHOULD I PAY CHALLAN IF I AM APPLYING FROM ABROAD? :
Select Authorized Person (Father/ Brother/ Relative etc.) to process your PCC Application in India.
Authorized person of applicant can pay the challan at any E-Seva center.
After paying challan you need to take challan details which are required to fill the Application Form Online.
IS PCC REQUIRED TO MIGRATE TO OTHER COUNTRIES? :
PCC is required for citizens who want to migrate to other countries.

Mobile App For Online Police Report for Loss of Articles/Documents :
As a part of Citizen Friendly Policing Services, Hyderabad City Police takes one more step forward by launching a Mobile App “Hyderabad City Police-Lost Report” to facilitate Citizens of Hyderabad City for reporting to police about loss of Document(s)/Articles(s) Lost/Missed and obtaining a digitally signed report online from Police for applying duplicate document(s)/claiming insurance of article(s) lost/missed their Mobiles (Cell Phones).
These digitally signed Police Reports are issued to citizens online only in cases of lost/missing items which don’t amount to crime and where no FIRs are required to be registered.

The erstwhile State of Nizam comprised areas covered of the present Telangana of AP State, Bidar, Raichur and Gulburga, districts of present Karnataka State and Osmanabad. Bheed, Nanded, Latur, Aurangabad and Parbhani districts of the present Maharashtra State. Hyderabad was the Capital of Nizam.
As per the available records, the Police Commissionerate system existed way back from the year 1847. The Nizam of Hyderabad used to appoint the Commissioners of Police who were officers of the Hyderabad Civil Service and they used to function during his pleasure.
They were answerable to the Nizam directly on various matters of policing in Hyderabad city. However as far as administrative matters were concerned the Commissioner of Police used to correspond with the Home Department directly.

I have applied for PCC about 10 days back through PSK. The acknowledgement has a file number, but when I enter that to check status, it says invalid application number. PSK acknowledgement has 15 characters where as PCC status page is expecting 16 characters. How can I get the application number? Please help.
