** Keeping in view the time sensitiveness of courier consignments, the department endeavours to clear them at the earliest.
** However, in respect of some consignments, due to non availability of complete information queries are raised to solicit the additional information to complete the assessment.
** The query is conveyed to the authorised courier who has filed the Bill of Entry for clearance. The authorised courier responds to the query and the assessment is completed thereafter.
** It is felt that it would be in the interest of transparency and greater trade facilitation, if the information in respect of queries raised is made available in public domain, on a real time basis. Accordingly, the information on queries raised would be uploaded on this website.
