Applying Duplicate Certificate :
The application for issuance of Duplicate Certificate should be made in the prescribed format.
** Certificate issued by a Sub-Inspector of Police or a Certificate issued by Deputy Tahsildar as the case may be.

** An affidavit in a prescribed proforma on Stamp paper worth Rs.50/- to be attested by Notary / Junior Civil Judge.
** A Declaration by the candidate regarding the suspension or cancellation of his certificate previously by the competent authority. ( to be attested by the Head of Institution)
** True extract of the Original SSC.
** True extract of the Administration Register
** Recent passport size photo of the candidate pasted in the prescribed space and attested by the concerned Head of School.
** An amount of Rs.250/- through Treasury Challan under the Head

A Demand Draft should be obtained from State Bank of Hyderabad / State Bank of India in favour of ” The Secretary to the Commissioner for Government Examinations, A.P., Hyderabad”
Note :
If the damaged SSC is available with details of Roll Number, Name of the Candidate, Fathers name and year of examination are legible, it may be sent to this office along with the application, in such cases affidavit and Police Certificate are not required.
The following certificate should be sent along with the application without fail :
** Treasury challan for Rs.250/-or Demand Draft remitted to the Head of Account given in the column 12 surpass
** An Affidavit on stamp paper worth Rs.50/-to be attested by Junior Civil Judge or Notary with designation stamp.
** A declaration by the candidate regarding the suspension or cancellation of his certificate previously.
** True extract of the original Secondary School Certificate (it will be issued by the Headmaster).
** Enclosed the Headmaster covering letter along with the application.
** Certificate issued by a Sub- Inspector of Police or a certificate issued by a Deputy Tahsildar as the case may be asper column 9 supra.

Directorate of Government Examinations is an independent department functioning under ministry of secondary education, Government of Andhra Pradesh. The department is responsible for conducting the SSC/OSSC Public Examinations and a number of minor examinations as given below.
Major Examinations :
DGE’s office conducts SSC/OSSC examinations twice in a year. This is the major examination with a registration of 6.52 lakh candidates for Annual (March -2015) examinations and 0.75 lakh candidates for Advanced Supplementary Examinations(May / June -2015)
