Following is sample template for VAT Registration Form :
The registration forms have the following buttons :

** Click on Validate after filling data to validate the data and to Generate upload sheet.
** Click on Next for navigating to next sheet.
** Click on Previous for navigating to previous sheet.
** Click on First for navigating to first sheet.
** Click on Last for navigating to last sheet.
** Click on Add Rows (+) button to add rows in existing table.
** Click on Delete Rows (-) button to remove rows from existing table.
After filling up the data in template click on the validate button. All the data in the sheet is validated and if all the data is correct it generates a upload file and dealer has to upload that generated file. Handbook on Electronic Payment
Upload and submit the form
** After downloading the templates please fill the templates as per the comments mentioned.
** For uploading the filled template navigate to VAT Registration page again, from where the template has been downloaded.
Note :
Screens for downloading templates and uploading them on web site are the same.
Action to be performed :
** Applicant First Name Characters Name of the Applicant.
** Applicant Surname Characters Surname of the Applicant.
** Form Type Characters Default Form Type is Form VAT 01
** Division Characters Select the Division from Drop down.
** Circle Characters Select the Circle from Drop down.
** Email Id Characters Enter a valid email Id .
** Upload File File Select the downloaded filled template for Registration form
** On uploading the template, it will show you various statuses.
** After validation if there is some error in data entry, then it will show the error list showing the error message with the row number and sheet details. You need to correct the data and upload the templates again.
** If there are no errors in the uploaded template you will find a submit button on the summary page.
** Click on the submit button to save registration data.
** After uploading template user has to upload all the documents with given transaction Id to get Acknowledgement receipt
** After uploading all the documents user can save data.
** User can remove uploaded documents. With same Transaction Id user upload documents again.
FAQs :
1. Once I apply electronically for registration, would I get an acknowledgement receipt ?
Yes, you would get an acknowledgement receipt from the web portal of the department which will carry a unique transaction number and date.
In addition to that, there will also be a unique code which is required to be used while tracking the status of your application. These numbers should be preserved carefully.
2. How can I generate duplicate acknowledgement receipt?
On web Portal home page, go to left menu and click on “Track your Status” link. Enter Acknowledgement Number and Transaction Id and you will be able to see the receipt details. You can print the duplicate receipt from here.
3. How can I track my e-Registration application Status?
Go to CTD Web Portal -> left menu -> click on “Track Your Status” link and enter the acknowledgement number and transaction id and you’ll be able to see your application status.
4. How will I receive my TIN and Registration Certificate?
TIN : Once your application is approved by the Registration Authority, TIN will be generated and emailed to you on the email id provided in your application. This TIN issuance is purely on provisional basis.
Registration Certificate : Once your documents are submitted to CTD Office and the site visit is conducted and Registration Authority approves, the certificate will be generated and can be collected from the CTD Office.
5. Can I pay my taxes online ?
Yes you can now pay your taxes online using CTD Web Portal and your Internet Banking Account
