ComTax Assam Register Online
To register online under VAT, CST and Entry Tax, user needs to visit the portal and click “e-Registration” link under e-Services. User can select either Online e-registration or Offline e-registration mode for submitting registration application.

Required Documents
Before applying online, user should get the scanned copy of following documents :
1. Photograph
2. Rent agreement/Self owned premise doc. proof
3. Deed of Partnership
4. Article of Association & Memorandum
5. Municipal trade license
6. PAN (Copy)
7. Bank Account (zerox copy of pass book/ cheque)
After filling up details of registration, user will be asked to upload the above mentioned documents. If documents are uploaded successfully, acknowledgement number will be generated. This acknowledgement number can be used for tracking status of registration application.
User will get intimation through sms when registration application will be approved by concerned Accessing Officer. User can print the Registration Certificate by using “Track Status” option under e-Registration.
Dealer Module
** Concerned person(dealer) fills up the registration form either online or offline .
** Uploads the form along with scanned copies of some documents.
** After submission of the form ,receives a registration number using which he can track his application status.
New Registration
** Select the preferred act under which Registration is to be performed then click on submit.
** Select District and location name in the drop down list and click on submit button to download the registration excel file.
** Fill the downloaded excel file.(Registration form and Annexure)
i. Fill up Annexure I data
ii. Fill up Annexure-I (Immovable List)
iii. Fill up the Annexure-I (Business List)
iv. Fill up the Annexure-II (Additional places)
v. Fill up the Bank details
vi. Fill up the Bank details
vii. Fill up Immovable List details
** Again select the act under which Registration is to be performed(should match with the act specified during downloading the form) and Click on submit button
** Reselect concerned district and location name for uploading the excel file and click submit button.
** Upload the excel file,required scanned documents and click on upload button.
** Click on save and confirm button.
** Dealer can check their registration status by entering their acknowledgment number.
Admin Module
** Registration request first goes to Assistant Commissioner of Taxes or Superintendent of Taxes Incharge .
** He assigns respective circle to the application.
** Application is then forwarded to the Circle Incharge.
** Circle Incharge verifies the complete registration request and accordingly processes the application.
** Processing of application includes-any remark ,order enquiry , order security hearing for new registration or he can directly choose for final approval of the registration.
** registration number is finally generated
