Step 1 : Visit the official website of WBPDS through provided above.
Step 2 : Next, click on “Features” tab in the menu bar and select “Check Ration Card Application Status” link.
Step 3 : After that enter the following details
** Select Your Form Type
** Select Your District
** Select Your Block/Municipality
** Enter Your Last 8 Digit of Application Number OR
** Enter the Full (16 Digit) Application Number
Step 4 : Finally click on “Search” button to know your ration card details.

WBPDS Portal
West Bengal Public Distribution System (WBPDS) portal is intended to be an one-stop information for Public Distribution System (PDS). The portal aims to bring in transparency by disseminating data, information, news etc., related to PDS.
Providing food grains and other essential items to vulnerable sections of the society at reasonable (subsidised) prices. To have a moderating influence on the open market prices of cereals, the distribution of which constitutes a fairly big share of the total marketable surplus .
The portal is expected to provided vital information on policies related to PDS, information on Central and State schemes, price of PDS commodities, allocation and offtake details, stake holders information, fair price shop details, ration card information etc., Apart from the Centrally provided data, the portal provides links to PDS related websites of the various States to know the PDS related information.

What is a West Bengal ration card?
A West Bengal ration card is an official document that is issued by the Government of West Bengal to eligible households. It allows the cardholder to buy food grains at subsidized rates from ration shops.
What are the different types of West Bengal ration cards?
There are three types of West Bengal ration cards:
AAY: Antyodaya Anna Yojana (AAY) ration cards are issued to the poorest of the poor households. These households are entitled to buy 35 kg of wheat and 20 kg of rice per month at subsidized rates.
APL: Above Poverty Line (APL) ration cards are issued to households that are above the poverty line. These households are entitled to buy 25 kg of wheat and 15 kg of rice per month at subsidized rates.
NREGA: National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (NREGA) ration cards are issued to households that are enrolled under the NREGA scheme. These households are entitled to buy 5 kg of wheat and 2 kg of rice per month at subsidized rates.
