Apply for Veterinary License

Veterinary Trade Licensing Guide Lines, Rules and Associated Processes :
A person who intends to set up a trade for the following trades can apply for a Veterinary trade license.

Processing Fees will be collected at the time of Submission of Application Form for New Veterinary Trade License and Renewal of Licenses only.

Issue of New License :
License Validity Period : 1 Year and valid up to 31st March of the Financial Year.

Charges associated with the License :
** Application/Processing Fees – will be collected at the time of Submission of Application Form for New Veterinary Trade License
** Registration Charges – will be collected only for approved applications.
** License Fee – are the annual license fee and will be collected only for approved applications.
** Transaction Charges – These charges will be collected for approved applications and the charges will be depending on the size of transaction (registration charges + license fee).
Rs. 5/- for the transactions upto Rs. 500-00
Rs. 10/- for the transactions above Rs. 500-00 and below Rs.1, 00,000-00
Rs. 100/- for the transactions above Rs.1, 00,000/-

Renewal of Licenses :
License Validity Period :
** One Year and valid up to 31st March of the Financial Year.
** Applicants can renew the license up to three years for the trades under Conforming Area.

License Renewal Period and Late Fee Charges :
** Valid (non-expired) Licenses can be renewed from the month of March to June without any late fees (3 months grace period will be given for renewal of license).
** Expired Licenses renewed after 30th June and within 1 year from date of expiry of license – Late Fee Charges Rs.100/- per month will be collected.
** Expired Licenses renewed after 1 year – Late Fee Charges will be double the Annual License Fee for every expired year + Rs.100/- per month for part months, if any. (i.e. Late Fee = License Fee X 2 X No. of years + (100 X part months), if any)

Charges associated with the Renewal of License :
** Application/Processing Fees – will be collected at the time of Submission of Application Form for Renewal of Veterinary Trade License
** Registration Charges – NIL
** License Renewal Fee – Annual license fee ( as mentioned in the table : Allowed Trades) will be collected only for approved applications.

Issue of Duplicate Licenses :
Charges associated with the Issue of Duplicate of Licenses :
Application/Processing Fees – Rs.25-00 + Rs 5-00 towards Transaction Charges will be collected at the time of Submission of Application Form for Duplicate copy of Veterinary Trade License

Documents are to be Submitted for Duplicate Copy of License :
An application to this effect at CSB Centre Copy of license, if available Copy of FIR in case of license is lost/misplaced An affidavit on Rs10/- Non-Judicial Stamp paper to the effect that lost license, if traced, will not be misused and will be returned to MCD NOC from legal Heirs
