Applying Certificate Of Fitness :
Owner of Transport vehicle may apply for certificate of fitness online.

Steps :
** Enter the Vehicle Number in the given boxes correctly
** Enter the Last 5 digits of Chassis No as shown in the RC Book
** Click on the ‘Get’ Button
** Your Vehicle details will be displayed
** If any serious mistakes other than spelling mistakes is found on your vehcile details you should contact the concerned RT/Sub RT Office immediately for correction.
** Select the Office Name where you wish to produce the vehicle for inspection
** Choose a convenient date and time
** Fill up additional requirements if any asked by the computer and click apply
** You will get an application Number and can take printout of applications
Instructions For Noc :
A Tax Paid vehicle owner can submit applications on-line to any of the RT/Sub RT offices
Steps :
** Select the Office Name for which the application is to be filed
** Enter the Vehicle Number in the given boxes correctly
** Enter the Last 5 digits of Chassis No
** Click on the ‘GO’ Button
** Your Vehicle details will be displayed
** ** If any serious mistakes other than spelling mistakes is found or your vehcile details you should contact the concerned RT/Sub RT Office immediately for correction.
** Click Next Button
** Fill up additional requirements if any asked by the computer and click apply
** You will get an application Number and can take printout of full set of applications
** Submit the printed forms with fee/epay receipt at concerned RT/Sub RT Office along with Registration, Insurance, Pollution certificates in orginal,Two recent passport size self signed photographs and with attested copies for proving address
Introduction of Smart Card :
As part of Modernisation it is proposed to introduce the Smart Card and Smart Optical Card technology in the issuance of driving licences and issuance of Certificates of Registration respectively. The Smart Card has an embedded microchip enabling it to process and store information. The electronic data stored in the micro chip of the Smart Card is capable of being read and written using terminals and devices.

If there is no fitness certificate, what would be the issue?
MY SON HAS TAKEN AN NOC FOR CARRYING HIS MOTOR CYCLE TO BANGALORE (KARNATAKA)FROM KERALA IN THE MONTH OF NOVEMBER 2014. DUE TO OFFICIAL PROBLEMS HE COULD NOT TAKE THE VEHICLE TO BANGALORE AND HE DID NOT PRODUCE THE NOC TO BANGALORE. HE RETAINS THE ORIGINAL NOC (IN DUPLICATE) WITH HIM. NOW HE WANTS TO SELL THE VEHICLE. WHETHER THERE IS ANY PROCEDURE TO CANCEL THE NOC AT KERALA ITSELF BY PRODUCING THE ORIGINAL N O C AND ALSO THE VEHICLE? OR NON INCLUSION CERTIFICATE FROM BANGALORE IS COMPULSORY (RTO AT BANGALORE DENIED THE NON INCLUSION CERTIFICATE STATING THAT WE HAVE NOT PRODUCED THE NOC AT BANGALORE FOR TRANSFER. KINDLY ADVISE TO SOLVE THE PROBLEM.
