HMWSSB Free Drinking Water Supply Scheme
As Promised,the Govt.of Telangana introduces the Free Drinking Water Scheme for Hyderabad 2.5 lakh households with water meters and 2 lakh slum households will receive free 20,000 litres per month

How To Register For Free Water Supply?
Step-1 : Go to the link https://bms.hyderabadwater.gov.in/20kl/FreeWaterSupplyRegistration
Step-2 : Name Check
Check if the Name spell in CAN and Name spell in Aadhaar are same. If same please proceed to (Step-4) Aadhaar linking to CAN.
Step-3 : Name Correction
Dear Consumer, To correct spelling of name against your CAN, you need to answer certain Security Questions. Please keep one of the last 6 months Bill copy and working Mobile Number. Please click here for Name Correction.
Step-4 : Aadhaar Linking
Dear Consumer, To link Aadhaar against your CAN for availing free drinking water supply scheme, please keep Aadhaar card & Aadhaar linked Mobile Number.
Step-5 : Aadhaar Delinking
Dear Consumer, To Delinking Aadhaar against the CAN will optout free drinking water supply scheme.
Procedure For Aadhaar Linking
Dear Consumer, to link Aadhaar against your CAN for availing free drinking water supply scheme, please keep Aadhaar card & Aadhaar linked Mobile Number.
Below is the process for linking the CAN with Aadhaar.
1. Click on “Please click here for Aadhaar Linkage” hyper link against Individual Domestic/Domestic Slums Connections.
2. Please enter valid CAN in field provided.
3. CAN details (Name, Mobile No., Address, Category) will be displayed.
4. Please Enter Property Tax Identification Number (PTIN).
5. Please Enter consumer Aadhaar Number (16 Digits) in the field provided.
6. Re-enter the Aadhaar Number (16 digits) to Confirm.
7. Click on “Get OTP”hyperlink when Aadhaar number and Confirm Aadhaar numbers are the same.
8. 6 Digit – One Time Password is sent to the Consumer mobile number as registered with the Aadhaar.
9. Consumer can click on Resend OTP to receive OTP again.
10. Enter the OTP in the field provided
11. Enter Captcha.
12. Click on SAVE button to accept the Aadhaar linkage to CAN and Register for Free Water supply benefit.
13. Success message will be displayed only when Name in Aadhaar and Name in CAN are matched. Confirmation SMS will be sent to the Consumer.
14. If Name in Aadhaar and Name in CAN are not matched, informing the Consumer to update the Name by visiting the nearest E-Seva Centre.
Procedure For Delink Aadhaar
Dear Consumer, to Delink Aadhaar against your CAN for availing free drinking water supply scheme, please keep CAN linked Mobile Number.
Below is the process for Delinking the CAN with Aadhaar.
1. Click on “Please click here for Aadhaar Delinking” hyper link against Individual Domestic/Domestic Slums Connections.
2. Please enter valid CAN in field provided and click on ‘Proceed’ button.
3. 4 digit OTP will be sent to the consumer registered mobile number linked to the CAN. Note: Resend OTP button will be enabled after 3 min 30 sec.
4. Enter OTP and click on ‘Validate OTP’ button.
5. CAN details (Name, Mobile No., Address, Category) will be displayed.
6. Select any Reason for Delinking.
7. Enter Captcha.
8. Select Disclaimer checkbox.
9. Click on SAVE button to accept the Aadhaar Delinking to CAN and unregister for Free Water supply benefit.
