As per the vacancies notified by various employers, the Employment Exchange submits the list of job seekers who match the requirements of the employer.

Vocational/ Career Guidance :
Employment Exchanges also provide Vocational Guidance /Career Information to the applicants. The department has set up a network of 22 vocational guidance units at District/Town Employment Exchanges and 3 in Universities to provide Educational & Vocational Guidance to youths. These units disseminate occupational and other relevant information to the applicants through Group Guidance, Career Talks, Career Weeks, Individual Information and Individual Counseling. Unemployment Allowance Scheme :
** Initially the Unemployment Allowance Scheme was launched on 1st November, 1988 by the then
** Hon’ble Chief Minister. The scheme benefited the applicants who were Matric & above. It has three slabs i.e. Matric AT Rs. 50/-, 10+2 AT Rs. 75/- and those who were graduate and above were paid AT 100/- per month.
** The Scheme was amended in November 2004. The allowance for matriculate and above was raised to Rs. 100/- per month, for 10+2 AT Rs. 200/- and for graduate was raised to Rs. 300/-.
** This scheme continued till October 2005 until it was replaced by the existing scheme in November, 2005, under the present scheme 10+2 or above applicants were paid AT Rs. 300/- per month and graduates and above were paid AT Rs. 500/- per month.
** The rates of unemployment allowance were again revised w.e.f. 1-4-2009;

i. All documents /mark sheets related to your qualification, experience (if any) and reserved category (if any) ready with you.
ii. Scanned copy of passport size colored photograph.
iii. Valid E-mail Id, this will help you to get related information via e-mail.
** Do not use abbreviation while entering registration form.
** Kindly provide valid E- mail Id and Contact number.
** Provide genuine information to avoid rejection of registration.
** Note down password you choose during registration for future reference.
** After successful submission, registration number along with the password will be displayed on the screen.
** Kindly click on “Preview” button to check the information you entered in the registration form.
** Click on “Print” button to get Provisional I-card (2 copies).
** Submit copies of related testimonials along with 1 copy of provisional I-card to the concerned/local Employment Exchange within 15 days of online registration.

About Department of Employment Haryana :
The department administers the Employment Exchanges (Compulsory Notification of Vacancies) Act, 1959, which is a Central statute and the Rules framed thereunder. At present, 56 Employment Exchanges are functioning in the State, out of which there is 1 State Employment Exchange Haryana at Panchkula, 4 Divisional Employment Exchanges, 17 District Employment Exchanges, 31 Sub Divisional Employment Exchanges and 3 University Employment Information and Guidance Bureaux. 2 Cells are also functioning at State Employment Exchange Panchkula,1 Scheduled Caste (SC) Cell &1 Physically Handicapped (PH) Cell.
Self Employment :
To promote self-employment, the employment officers are guiding the applicants regarding self employment schemes being operated by various Government departments/Boards/Corporations of Haryana State and the applicants who are so willing for self employment are registered separately and their names are being sponsored to various agencies for the grant of loan.
