SMS Banking :

SMS facility for simple and easy to use banking facility for the information based banking service like Balance Enquiry, Mini statement or status on a cheque.

Salient features of the product are as under :-
** It provides services like Balance Enquiry, Mini statement or status of a cheque. Customers having their mobile number already registered in CBS can avail this service, no separate registration is required.
** Customers of our Bank can avail the services by sending SMS from their registered mobile number on 5616150 with message as under. Charge of Rs.3/- will be applicable for this service for each SMS sent by the customer.

Balance Enquiry :
SMS Text BAL <space> Last 4 digit of account number (e.g. if account number is 27940100012345 type : BAL 2345) and sent text at 5616150)
Format in which message will be received : As on 29/05/13 11:33:11 Clear Bal in your a/c. XXXX2345 Rs. 2345.53.

Mini Statement :
SMS Text MINI <space> Last 4 digit of account number (e.g. if account number is 27940100012345 type : MIN 2345) and sent text at 5616150)
Format in which message will be received : Mini Stmt of A/c XXXX2345 1) 22-05-2013:100 Dr 2) 22-05-2013 1000 Cr 3) 21-05-2013 500 Dr Clear Bal Rs. 2345.53- as on 29/05/2013 11:47:30.

Cheque Status :
SMS Text CHEQ <space> Last 4 digit of account number <space> Cheque No. (e.g. if account number is 27940100012345 and cheque number is 006789 type : Cheq 2345 006789 and sent text at 5616150)
Format in which message will be received : Your Cheque (006789) has been paid.
The application is so designed that upon receiving the request from the customers, system will fetch the account numbers in which the sender’s mobile is registered and if the last four digits of such accounts match with the last four digits received in the message, the response to the request will be sent back to the sender’s number.

Yes. You can open more than one account with the same DP. There is no restriction on the number of accounts you can open with a DP.

Am I restricted to having account with only one DP?
No. There are no restrictions on the number of DPs you can open accounts with or the number of accounts you can open with a DP. Depository accounts are similar to bank accounts.

Just as you can have savings or current accounts with more than one bank, you can open accounts with more than one DP.
