1. When does the Commission notify the posts?
The Commission notifies the posts after vacancies are reported to the Commission by the respective Appointing Authority/ Unit Officer after obtaining finance clearance and other necessary permissions from the Government.

Once the Commission receives the indent/requisition from the Unit Officers with due permission from Government, Commission will host the Notification on the Commission’s Website and issues a Press Note in the daily newspapers.

Functions of TSPSC Telangana
The Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC) is a statutory body constituted under Article 315 of the Constitution of India. It is responsible for conducting examinations and recommending candidates for appointment to various civil services and posts under the Government of Telangana.
The TSPSC has the following functions:
** To conduct examinations for appointment to various civil services and posts under the Government of Telangana.
** To recommend candidates for appointment to various civil services and posts under the Government of Telangana.
** To advise the Government on matters relating to methods of recruitment to civil services and posts.
** To advise the Government on the principles to be followed in making appointments to civil services and posts and in making promotions and transfers from one service to another.
