How To Pay Water Tax & Charges Online in Tamil Nadu?
Through the new system, consumers can Register for Web based Billing and Collection System by clicking on Customer Registration for Portal Access tab. The consumer has to enter the CMC No and Mobile number to Register. The mobile number already registered will not be allowed for registration.
The consumer has to validate the mobile number by entering the One Time Password (OTP) generated by the system and sent through SMS. Once validated the consumer will be registered and allowed for online payment.
Customer Login using Registered Mobile Number / Email id and Password:
After Registration, the consumer can login using Registered Mobile No./Email ID & Password (given at the time of Registration).

Customer Login using Registered Mobile Number and One Time Password (OTP):
After Registration, the consumer can login using Registered Mobile No./Email ID & by validating the One Time Password (OTP) generated by the system and sent to consumer by SMS.
Quick Pay:
Consumers have the option of making payment by selecting the Quick Pay option. Consumer can give Property ID(CMC No) or Mobile No. Already registered with the Portal(for which the properties are already tagged).
Find my Property:
Consumers have the option to find the property in case they are not aware of the Property ID (CMC No.) through this option by selecting the Zones/Wards and typing few characters of name / Address / CMC no. etc.

The water tax is payable half-yearly, in August and February.
