What is Gujarat Chief Minister Relief Fund?
Gujarat Chief Minister Relief Fund (CMRF) is gathered by voluntary donations from any person, NRIs, various service organizations, industrialists, artists or writers etc., and the very aim of the fund is to provide immediate relief to the people in distress. All the contributions towards CMRF are exempted from Income Tax under section 80(G). The receipt will be provided on successful contribution.

The Gujarat Chief Minister’s Relief Fund (CMRF) is a public charitable fund established by the Government of Gujarat to provide financial assistance to individuals and families in distress.
The fund is primarily used to:
** Provide immediate relief to victims of natural disasters like floods, earthquakes, and cyclones.
** Offer financial support for medical treatment of critically ill patients who cannot afford it, especially for serious illnesses like cancer, kidney failure, and heart disease.
** Assist families affected by accidental deaths or injuries.
** Support other social welfare initiatives as deemed necessary by the Chief Minister.
The CMRF is funded entirely through voluntary donations from individuals, organizations, and businesses. Contributions to the CMRF are exempt from income tax under Section 80(G) of the Income Tax Act, 1961.

There are several ways you can donate to the Gujarat Chief Minister’s Relief Fund (CMRF)
Online:
** Official Portal: This is the recommended and most convenient method. Visit the official online portal of the CMRF https://revenuedepartment.gujarat.gov.in/cm-relief-fund
** Click on “Donate Now”.
** Enter your basic details like name, address, PAN card details, and email ID.
** Choose your preferred payment method: UPI platforms, debit/credit cards, internet banking, or QR code.
** Complete the payment and receive an auto-generated e-receipt, 80-G certificate, and a certificate of appreciation.
Offline:
** Demand Draft: Draw a demand draft payable to “Gujarat Chief Minister’s Relief Fund” and send it to the Commissioner of Relief, Government of Gujarat, Sachivalaya Gandhinagar-380020.
** Cheque: Write a cheque payable to “Gujarat Chief Minister’s Relief Fund” and send it to the Commissioner of Relief, Government of Gujarat, Sachivalaya Gandhinagar-380020.
** Cash: You can deposit cash at designated branches of State Bank of India, Bank of Baroda, Bank of India, and Central Bank of India. Check the official website for a list of designated branches.
