Online Booking Process
** Visit at www.parcel.indianrail.gov.in
** Register and Login to the Portal
** Fill Origin and Destination Stations in the Online Form
** Select a Train from the List of Trains suggested by the System
** Fill-up the Booking form (Fowarding Note)
** System will calculate Approximate Freight Charges
** Submit the system generated e-Fowarding Note at godown
** Handover the Parcel at Originating Station with Printout of e-Fowarding Note
** Parcel is weighed and actual freight charges are calculated by system at booking counter
** Deposit the Freight Charges and Collect the Railway Receipt (RR)
** Parcel can be tracked using Track & Trace Facility
** Customer gets a notification SMS, when Parcel reaches its Destination
** Submit the original RR and Collect Parcel from its Destination Station at delivery counter

a.Enter user id and Press tab button on keyboard to get OTP on your registered mobile number.
b.Enter OTP in text box.(Note : After 5 mins this OTP will be invalid).

Manual Booking Process
** Visit at Parcel Booking Station (Origin)
** Fill-up the Booking Form (Forwarding Note) Manually
** Submit the duly filled Fowarding Note along with the Parcel
** Parcel is Weighed and Freight Charges are calculated manually at the booking counter
** Deposit the Freight Charges and Collect the Railway Receipt (RR)
** Submit the original RR and collect the Parcel from its Destination Station

Q1) Can I book a parcel from any railway station?
As of now, parcel booking/delivery is allowed at around 750 stations over Indian railways. Booking/delivery of parcel from these stations can be done in those passenger trains which have a scheduled stop of at least 05 minutes at that particular station.
Q2) Can I book my vehicles (two-wheeler, three-wheeler,four-wheeler) also?
Two-wheelers, tri-wheelers (for people with disabilities) and four-wheelers can also be booked through railway.
Q3) Can I book the whole parcel van?
Yes, a Parcel Van can be booked through placing indent at the Parcel office of the concerned station.
Q4) What is the time limit for booking of parcel?
Parcels can be booked upto 4 hours prior to the scheduled departure of the trains from that particular station.
Q5) In which trains is parcel booking allowed?
Parcel booking is normally allowed in all passenger trains. Besides there are a number of Parcel Special trains also comprising only of Parcel Vans, whose details are available on the Railways website.
