What is Mumkin Livelihood Generation Scheme?
“Mumkin – Livelihood Generation Scheme” is an initiative launched by the Jammu & Kashmir State specifically aimed at empowering its young population. Recognizing the challenges faced by unemployed youth, this program offers financial assistance to help them embark on their journey towards self-employment.

By providing subsidies and facilitating bank loans, Mumkin removes a significant financial barrier for aspiring young entrepreneurs, allowing them to invest in small commercial vehicles and establish themselves within the transportation sector. Benefits of Mumkin Livelihood Generation Scheme
** Up to ₹80,000 subsidy (or 10% of on-road price, whichever is lower) per beneficiary from Mission Youth.
** Matching subsidy from the vehicle manufacturer (equal to Mission Youth’s contribution).
Eligibility of Mumkin Livelihood Generation Scheme
** Applicant must be domicile of Jammu and Kashmir.
** The age of the applicant should be between 18 to 35 years.
** Applicant must be unemployed.
** Applicant must have commercial driving license.
** Applicant must not be received any financial assistance or subsidy from government organization for self employment.
** Applicant can get the scheme benefit only at once.
