What is DOAH Gujarat Construction of Godown Scheme?
Construction of Dudhghar/Godown Scheme is provided by Gujarat Directorate of Animal Husbandry (DOAH). Village Milk Producer Co-operative societies in the State which do not have their own facility of Dudhghar/Godown and by providing them assistance in infrastructure development, they can install bulk milk coolers and other similar machineries and Godown can be used for cattle feed storage.

Constructed Dudhghar provide proper infrastructure for clean and hygienic milk production. Due to this not only milk producers are benefited but consumers are also benefited. Ensures a direct linkage between milk producers and consumers through integration of production and procurement of milk.
Eligibility Criteria of Construction of Godown Scheme
** To get benefit of these schemes Village Milk Producer Co-operative societies can apply online on i-khedut portal https://ikhedut.gujarat.gov.in and have to upload on i-khedut portal or submit the documents in hard copy to office mentioned in application form within 7 days.
** All Village Milk Producer Co-operative societies of the Scheduled Tribes area of the state which do not have their own facility of Dudhghar/Godown will be benefited under the scheme.
** The Village Milk Producer Co-operative societies should have Copy of Bank Pass book or cancelled cheque, Proof of own land for construction of Dudhghar/Godown, Certificate of not availing benefit earlier in same scheme/other scheme with similar purpose by Managing Director of Dairy Union.
