FAQs :
What is the deadline for SLIP submission?
The SLIPs would be aggregated into State, Annual Action Plan (SAAP). The Central Assistance would be released after approval of SAAP by the Apex Committee. Therefore, States/UTs need to submit the SAAP expeditiously to enable timely release of funds.
Will each ULB get upto 2.5 % of annual allocation for development of green spaces?
Every SLIP has component for development of one park per year (Section 5.1 of guidelines). The total expenditure on these projects will not exceed 2.5% of the SAAP. The Central Assistance available for this component is 50 percent of the project cost. (Para 5.1, Sl No 6)
Is allocation under AMRUT is 100 Crores per city?
No. The Mission does not envisage MoUD allocating funds on per city basis. City wise allocation has to be done by the States. (Para 7.2)
What is the fund allocated for each city? .
The States will allocate the funds among cities. The para 7.2 of guidelines, presents the method for inter-city allocation by States.
