Revaluation of Valued Answer Paper :

** Revaluation can be applied for, in ONE/TWO FAILED PAPERS or ONE PASSED PAPER in the current session ONLY.

Application for revaluation shall be made in the prescribed Proforma within 15 days after the announcement of the result, through the Principal / Director of the college / Centre for Distance Education where he / she underwent the course. Applications can be downloaded from university website www.bdu.ac.in

** Those candidates who have passed in the examinations, and those candidates who have secured less than 50% of the passing minimum marks in the examinations held in the recent past shall apply for revaluation, provided that they get the transparency of their answer scripts and support their cases with the specific recommendation of their Head of the Departments and the Principal, for revaluation on the basis of the transparencies.

** Those candidates who have failed but secured more than 50% of the passing minimum marks shall be eligible for revaluation with or without getting the transparency of the answer scripts. The candidates who have sought for revaluation need not wait for the outcome of revaluation result. The candidate may register for the concerned paper(s) in the subsequent Examinations. Late applications for the subsequent Examinations on the ground that the candidate was waiting for the results of the revaluation will not be entertained at any cost.

** The University will not bind at any circumstances if the Candidate passes in revaluation of paper(s) and qualified for admission to P.G. Courses / Higher Education.

Fee particulars : (Passed / Failed papers)
Fee for Transparency (U.G. & P.G.) : Rs. 300/- (each paper)
Fee for Revaluation (U.G.) : Rs. 400/- (each paper)
Fee for Revaluation (P.G.) : Rs. 500/- (each paper)

Fee shall be paid by means of Demand Draft in favour of ‘BHARATHIDASAN UNIVERSITY, TIRUCHIRAPPALLI-620 024”.

Student Support and Progression :
Bharathidasan University is catering the needs of students from different parts of the country and even from abroad. However, majority of the students are from the state of Tamilnadu. The percentage of pass among students is very high and the drop out rate is negligible.

The students are given opportunity to express their views (both positive and negative) about the courses and course teachers.

The suggestions given by the students for improving the curriculum were given due respect and relevant measures were invited to revise the curriculum as per the needs of the students.

Admission :
For admission to various study programmes, advertisements are issued in leading dailies regarding the programmes of study offered in the various Departments at least two months before the commencement of the academic year.

Complete details regarding the various programmes conducted in the Departments and the syllabus for the courses are published in the university’s website. The university also publishes its prospectus annually.
