The norms adopted for registration of candidates with the Corporation is that a candidate who seeks registration should possess at least 2 years experience in the relevant post for which he desires to be considered and should hold a valid passport.

REGISTRATION FEES :
For the purpose of registration, the corporation issues printed application forms and collects registration fee as follows :
** By post Rs. a. Unskilled/Semi skilled/Skilled workers 565/- 575/-
** b. Diploma holders / Under Graduate(Arts/Science/Maths) 565/- 575/-
** Staff Nurses & Other Para Medical Personnel 960/- 970 /-
** MBBS Doctors / Post Graduate Doctors(Specialist and Consultant) 1690/- 1700 /-

** The filled in application should be resubmitted within 60 days from the date of issue. For belated submission of application, condonation fee at the following rates is collected :
1. Beyond 60 days and upto 90 days .. Rs. 56/-
2. Beyond 90 days and upto 1 year .. Rs. 115/-
3. Beyond 1 year .. To be rejected…

RENEWAL :
The registration with the Corporation will be valid for 2 years counting from the month of registration. Those who desire to continue their registration beyond this period should renew their registration. The renewal fee is Rs.115/-. For belated renewal upto two months, an additional fee of Rs.225 /- is collected.

For Government Servants
Tamil Nadu Govt. employees are permitted to register themselves direct with the Corporation, Upon selection, they are granted leave without pay and allowance for a period of 3 years, which can be extended for a further period upto 2 years.

FAQs :
1. What is the validity of period of Registration?
Registration Period: 24 Months. (Inclusive of registration month). If you want to continue your registration you have to renew in 24th month.

The renewal fee will be Rs.115/- inclusive of service tax. After renewal your registration will be kept for another 24 months.

Belated Renewal :
If you fail to renew in the 24th month then it will be treated as belated renewal. Your registration may also be renewed belatedly in the month 25th or 26th after paying Rs.230/- as belated renewal fee.

2. How can I log in to my account?
To login to OMCL web Portal, click on the “Log in” link in the Home page and enter the Email and Password details. After logging in to the account, you can update your profile through the “My Account” link. You can also preview and edit your resume.

3. How can I change my Account password?
In the “My Account” page, you can use the ‘Change Password’ link to change your password. There you have to enter the old password, new password (twice for verification). On clicking the Save button, the password will be changed.

4. How do I sign-in to my account if I forget my password?
If you’ve forgotten your password, you can use the “Forgot Password” link in the home page, follow the on-screen instructions and the system will send you an email with the new password. You can then login using the new password. Once logged in, the account password can be changed using the “Change Password” link given in “My Account” page.

5. As a Guest user/Unregistered user what all I can do in the site?
A Guest user can search for the jobs and look into the Job Details. But to apply for a job or save a job for future reference, one should become a Registered User.
