What are the delivery charges?:
Urjakart.com delivers an order free of cost at your doorstep for all orders above Rs 1500. We bear all the Octroi/sales tax and there is no additional shipping charge that you have to pay at the time of the delivery. However, if you order amount is less than Rs 1500, a minimal shipping charge of Rs 150 is applicable for domestic shipping. For international shipping, charges are extra which will be mentioned with the order confirmation details.
Are there any hidden costs (sales tax, octroi etc) on items on Urjakart.com?:
There are NO hidden charges when you make a purchase on Urjakart.com. List prices are final and all-inclusive. The price you see on the product page is exactly what you would pay. Delivery charges are not hidden charges and are charged (if at all) extra depending on our shipping policy.
Urjakart.com does not/cannot ship to my area. Why?:
At the checkout stage, the pincode in your shipping address will be used to check for serviceability. At times, Urjakart.com prefer not to ship to certain locations. Whether your location can be serviced or not depends on

** Legal restrictions, if any, in shipping particular products to your location
** The availability of reliable courier partners in your location
Why is the CoD option not offered in my location?:
Availability of CoD depends on the ability of our courier partner servicing your location to accept cash as payment at the time of delivery. Our courier partners have limits on the cash amount payable on delivery depending on the destination and your order value might have exceeded this limit.
How do you ship your orders?:
We ship certain heavy items by ground couriers while other light items are shipped by air. We deliver most of our orders through our courier partners. For other locations not covered by our shipping partners, we use Indian Speed Post to deliver your orders.
How much time does it take for an order to be delivered?:
We deliver your order within 2-3 working days post-dispatch in Metros (New Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Bengaluru, Chennai, Pune, Ahmedabad and Hyderabad). For the rest of the cities, we deliver between 2-5 business days. Delivery by ground takes a little longer than air couriers. Ground-shipped orders are delivered to you between 5-7 business days post-dispatch. Deliveries to very remote locations such as North East may take up to 7 business days or longer, depending on the location’s geographical constraints.
Why I may face some delay in delivery for my COD order?:
You may face some delay in delivery while placing order by Cash On Delivery. The reason for the delay is that our shipping partners like Bluedart, DTDC use separate staff to deliver and collect payment for COD orders. Since they are handliing cash so they have to be careful with that and the local courier offices assign 1 or 2 persons to handle and process this kind of transactions that is why the delivery is delayed as no one except few can deliver COD orders.
