Chennai Metro Rail Limited Board consists of Chairman, Managing Director and 8 Directors. The Chairman is nominated by the Government of India and at present, Secretary to Government of India, Ministry of Urban Development is the Chairman of the Chennai Metro Rail Limited.
MD is nominated by Government of Tamil Nadu .Out of the 8 Directors, 4 are nominated by the Government of India and 4 are nominated by the Government of Tamil Nadu.
