Smart Card Facility:

We are pleased to announce that IIT Indore has upgraded to SMART Cards.

Smart cards for Dependents will soon be issued. Employees are requested to fill the Google form available in ‘Obtaining’ page

These cards serve as Campus Cards and would let you :
** Check out books through library
** Gain access to labs
** Use it as debit card at campus restaurant (canteen)
** Avail printing, scanning and photocopying services
** Access parking area
** Buy tickets in market bus
** Use it in dispensary
** Pay overdue fee in library
** Pay tuition fee and miscellaneous fees
** Manage attendance

Note:
** In addition to these facilities, this card serves as photo identity card.
** You can recharge your card by transferring money online from any Bank account (NEFT transfer) or by depositing cash in the Cash Deposit Kiosk installed in the campus and use it for payment in Canteens (PACL & Simrol), Library and in Bus. Just as you check your transactions in your online BANK account, you can check your Smart Card account online to view your daily, monthly or yearly transactions anytime.
** The Smart Card Facility makes IIT Indore a ‘’Cashless Campus’’. You need not carry your wallet every time with you.

Security features:
** Your fingerprint/PIN authentication is required for all the transaction done through your smart card in the Campus in various devices.

General Information:
** Your Smart Card is a multipurpose card
** You can use your card as a debit card within the campus
** You can recharge your card in the Cash Deposit Kiosk
** You can transfer money online (NEFT Transfer) to your card
** You can view your Smart Card statement online

DO’s:
** Change your PIN as soon as you receive your card
** Please do a Load Recharge before depositing cash

DONT’s:
** Do not deposit soiled notes in Cash Deposit Kiosk
** Do not reveal your PIN to anyone

Obtaining your card :
What is the procedure to get my new Campus Card?
You will have to fill in your information (Name, Roll number/employee ID, Department, Course/Designation, etc) and insert the link for the photographs. For more information, please visit this page

I received my Campus Card. Is there any other formality to be completed.
Immediately after getting your Campus Card, you should get your PIN and fingerprint enrolled. Without this you will not be able to use your card for payment.

What is a PIN and fingerprint?
Your Campus Card transactions are highly secured. You cannot make any transactions unless you authenticate via PIN/fingerprint. PIN is your 4 digit Personal Identification Number.

Your default PIN is 1111. You should change your PIN in the information Kiosk and Cash Deposit Kiosk immediately after receiving your Campus Card. At the time of fingerprint enrolment, you fingerprint (any finger of your choice) will be scanned and stored in your card.

You can use your PIN and fingerprint for authentication at the time of payment in Canteen, Library or Bus. You can verify your fingerprint in the Information Kiosk and Cash Deposit Kiosk.

I verified my fingerprint in the information kiosk, Cash Deposit Kiosk and POS Device. I get the following message: ‘‘Fingerprint not Matched’’. What should i do now?
Please get your fingerprint re-enrolled.
