User Manual For Online Road Tax:
1. Open the site using orissatransport.nic.in, there you will find a link ‘Pay Online Road Tax’ as shown in the picture with arrow mark. Click the link to proceed to Online Road Tax payment site.

2. On Click to ‘Pay Tax Online’ link, you will be redirected to a page which looks like this page.
3. There you can click the link ‘Online Tax Payment’
4. Collection of Road Tax input parameters boxes will be displayed
5. Select the RTO name in which RTO it belongs to.
6. Then enter the Vehicle Number as shown in the boxes. Please enter the State Code, RTO Code and Series in First box and Number part in Second Box
7. Then Click ‘Get Details’. This will fetch you vehicle details,last tax paid period and calculate the tax you have to pay.
8. This will fetch your vehicle details; last tax paid period and calculate the tax you have to pay as shown below.
9. Here you have to enter the Mobile Number(mobile number comes automatically if it is available in the RTO database), Verification Code and Click the Declaration. (as shown with arrow marks)
10. Before going for payment, please check the Grand Total. You can proceed for payment if total of your arrear tax, if any, and current tax is found correct.
11. Please press ‘Make Payment’ button if everything is correct. Once you click on ‘Make Payment’, the system will be forwarded to ‘Odisha Treasury Payment Gateway’ site where selection of payment mode and Bank is available.
12. The Odisha Treasury Payment side looks like the following screen. Here selection of ‘Payment Mode’ and ‘Bank’ is there.
13. Select the Payment Mode. For online Road Tax Payment, two options are available i.e. i) Net Banking or ii) Debit Card. Under ‘Net Banking’, you can select one bank from the list of 40 banks, whereas under ‘Debit Card’, only SBI bank facility is available.
14. After selecting Payment Mode, Please select the Bank as shown in the figure. There are 14 numbers of bank names in the main option list, if you don’t find your bank in the list, please select ‘Other Bank through Central Bank Gateway’ where many other bank list will be available.
15. Then press the ‘Proceed’ button to proceed to next screen. Please note that the ‘Remark’ and ‘Verification String’ are optional here. You may not enter these two values.
