Registration with Delhi Nursing council is subject to submission of the all the documents from Serial No. 1 to No.11.

Documents to be attached with Filled Form :
** Three recent passport size frontal view camera photographs on white back ground one affixed on the application form and two clipped on the form (ONE Photograph attested by employer/Nsg. Suptd.) All Photographs Should preferably be in Uniform with Hair neatly Tied at the back

** Photocopies (duly attested) of 10th and 12th class certificate. (School leaving) and Mark sheets.
** Photocopies (duly attested) of mark sheets of all three / four years examination issued by Council/Exam Board/Universities.
** Photocopy (duly attested) of diploma certificate / degree From Examination Board / Nursing Council / University.
** Duly attested photocopy (Front and back) of registration certificate with other councils, (RN & RM).
** Address proof of the nursing training institute from where the training is obtained.
** Photocopy of both side front & back (duly attested) of the renewal receipt / renewal of registration with other council (if applicable).
** Marriage Certificate/office order/copy of voter card / Govt. Office Order*/ affidavit on stamp paper of Rs. Twenty attested by notary.
** Proof of being employed in Delhi in the form of identity card, letter of appointment, letter of selection etc.
** Additional Photocopy of registration certificate of parent nursing council.
** Additional passport size photograph by those who are registered with Mahakoshal nurses registration council.
** Fees for registration / re-registration as applicable.
** Registration with Delhi Nursing Council is subject to (i) verification received from parent nursing council and (ii) INC (Indian nursing council) suitability status of school/college of nursing from where the training is obtained.

About Delhi Nursing Council :
The Delhi Nursing Council developed after sustained efforts were put in by a group of nursing professionals in the year 1995 and who worked as a committee in close conduct with the Health Minister of Delhi. In the year 1997, bill got passed and in the year 2001, Delhi Nursing Council Act, 1997, Act No. 3 of 1999 along with rules, was notified on June 11, 2001.

In August, 2001 the constitution of Delhi Nursing Council was published and May 17, 2002. The Health Minister of Govt. NCT Delhi inaugurated the council.
** To provide data base of available practicing nurses in the state of Delhi
** To improve standards of health care in the state of Delhi

** To serve as an agency to develop nursing staffing norms, recruitment policy, pay & remuneration and any other nursing related policies.
** To enable the nurses, ANM/FHW, Midwives, Female Health Assistants to provide care to the patients by safe practices
