Apply for RCMC :

As per the Foreign Trade Policy, a Status Holder exporter is required to get a Registration-cum-Membership Certificate (RCMC) from FIEO for availing various benefits under the Policy.

RCMC is also required for getting certain benefits from the Customs and Central Excise authorities. For registration purposes, FIEO has been recognized by the Government as an Export Promotion Council.

How do I send the documents required by FIEO along with the RCMC application for the issuance of fresh/renewed/endorsed RCMC?
Please scan signed copies of the required documents one by one and save each of the documents as separate file in pdf format on your machine. Then attach each of the documents one by one when asked for each of them at the end of the online application.

How do I create password?
A first-time user will be given an option to select his authentication mode in the form of password or DSC. Based on the selection, the system will ask for a password or a DSC in the subsequent logins only after the first application by the exporter is completely processed and approved by a FIEO official.

What will be my username?
Your 10 digit IEC will be considered as your user name.

I already have a digital signature certificate which I use to submit documents with other government departments. Can I use the same digital signature certificate?
If the digital signature is class II and above, it can be used in the system.

I have a debit card. Can I make payment online?
Yes.

I have a credit card issued by xyz bank. Can I make use of it to make online payment?
Yes you can use your credit card to make the payment.

What will happen if after making payment I am not able to complete and submit the application due to technical problem- machine got held up, internet connection failed etc?
If the technical problem has occurred before successful payment, kindly login into the system and apply again. If the problem has occurred after successful payment, kindly contact the respective branch office and quote the reference number of the transaction.

Can I make payment using internet banking?
Yes. Internet banking can be used to make payment.

What is the minimum technical requirement to operate RCMC system?
(A) Operating system: Microsoft Windows XP service pack 3 and above, Vista.
(B) Internet Explorer 6 and above.

Can I access the system using my mobile?
No.

What will happen if I receive confirmation from my credit card department/bank that payment has been released but FIEO does not receive it or is not able to link it with my application?
Kindly contact your FIEO branch official and quote the bank reference number.

Do I need to submit hardcopy of the application after submitting online application?
If you are selecting your login authentication mode as ‘Password’, then you will have to submit the printed copy of the application.

Whom do I contact in FIEO in case of any difficulty with online submission of application?

In how many days will I get my renewal/endorsement certificate after submitting my application online?
Within 2 days.

How will the Renewed/Endorsed RCMC reach me?
Renewed/Endorsed RCMC will be sent by courier on the contact person’s address/Applicant’s address provided in the application.
