Account Opening :
To open a Philatelic Deposit Account in the Mumbai GPO Philatelic Bureau, you can either use the On-line Account Opening facility or Download the application form from this site.

In both the cases, all you have to do is fill up the application form correctly and send the necessary minimum balance as Money order or Demand Draft in favour of The Director (Philately), Philatelic Bureau, Mumbai G.P.O. – 400 001.
** Once we receive the application form and the money, we will open a PD account in your name and will intimate you as to its opening.

Please note that the application must be filled up correctly and you must also indicate the requirments of the following items :
** Requirement of stamps.
** First day cover (F.D.C.) Blank or with stamps duly cancelled.
** Brochure (information sheet) Blank or with stamps duly cancelled.
** Other items – Army cover/special cover/ Maxim Cards
** Miniature sheet.
** Presentation Packs / Collectors Packs / Annual Packs.
** Greeting Cards
Online Registration :
To open a Domestic Philately Deposit Account on-line, just fill up the form below and send us the initial subscription amount either by Money Order or Demand Draft in favour of The Director (Philately), Philatelic Bureau, Mumbai GPO – 400 001
Fields marked with (*) are mandatory fields. The registration process consist of filling up 2 forms. (1)The Application form and (2) The Standing order form. When you have finished filling up the application form, click on the ‘Next’ button to bring up the Standing order form.

You can download the following documents from our site. This includes the Philately Deposit Account opening registration form and other documents. If you wish to download the registration forms for opening a Philately Deposit Account, you must download both the PDA Application Form and the Standing Order Form.
To download a form,you can use any of the following ways :
Option 1. Right click on the document name and use the ‘Save Target As..’ option.
Option 2. Click on the name of the document. The document will open in the browser. From the ‘File’ menu, select the ‘Save As’ option and save the document.
