Welcome to Electronic Tendering System of Government of Maharashtra. This System is intended to be used by all Departments, Agencies and Corporations of Maharashtra for processing of the Tenders online.

Suppliers and Contractors intending to do business with those Departments, Agencies and Corporations of Maharashtra who have migrated their processes online are invited to register on the Electronic Tendering System.

Points to Remember :
** Upon approval, this contractor registration remains valid for a period of 1 year.
** If a bidder does not re-new its registration before the expiry date, it will result in de-activation of its account, subsequently prohibiting the bidder from participating in e-Tendering process.
** Hence, it is recommended for bidders to get their registrations renewed prior to expiry of the same.
** To renew your registration you need to Edit Enrollment Information and update your Enrollment. (refer Updating of Enrollment Information user manual)
** Upon updation of registration, validity of account gets extended for another year.
** Bidders registered through the above mentioned steps are now eligible to participate in e-Tenders of ‘Open’ category only.
** In order to participate in e-Tenders of ‘Restricted’ category, apart from completing normal registration process for the main portal, eligible bidders would require to complete ‘Portal Empanelment’ process for specific departments on their respective sub portals. (kindly refer relevant user manual for the same available on maharashtra.etenders.in)
** Few of the departments which publish ‘Restricted’ type of tenders : PWD, PWD-NH, WRD, MJPetc.

Guidelines for e-token :
It has been observed that various new e-tokens of different makes are being introduced in Indian market.

These e-tokens all use different drivers and methodology. It has also been observed that some tokens do not work if both signing and encryption certificates are installed in them. Please note that as per CVC and CCA guidelines the NexTenders e-tendering application requires both the certificates at different stages in the workflow.

We support all leading e-tokens in our application. Any untested or new token may not work properly. We recommend to end users that they consult with our local representative at the respective locations before procuring new e-tokens.

What is e-Token device?
e-Token is a device to store Digital Certificates securely. A Digital Certificate installed on a secure e- Token cannot be copied.

What is encryption and decryption?
Encryption means changing a set of data information into non – readable format. Decryption means changing a set of encrypted data information back into original format.

What is Hashing?
** Hashing means generating a thumbprint of a set of data information.
** Hash is well defined algorithm in the Information Technology Act, 2000.

** Hash is one – way. You can generate Hash value of a set of data information but not set of data information out of a Hash value.
** Hash is unique to a set of data information. Any change in the original set of data information will result in change in the Hash value.
